Hey guys. There's been talks in the primary topic of helping out by sending Indivisible to other people, like Youtube famous and what not. Let's bring together everything and talk about who we've sent info too and post any results also! We can even brain storm other ways of helping get the word out!

Like, I've so far tweeted Notch, of Minecraft creation fame, who's a conosour of sorts of gaming, and he tends to tweet about the games he's played (which sometimes crashes a website lol). So Hopefully he somehow gets my Tweet.

I've also Messaged CaptainSparklez and BaerTaffy. Not sure if CaptainSparklez will do it though as he's mainly Minecraft, but I've seen him play a few other games. BaerTaffy on the other hand is one who supports Indevs and seen playing a wide range of games (even some he's backed), so I'm hoping he sees my message.

Nice idea, definitely helps organize things. ^.^

I've got to talk to my boss, but I may be able to place some signage for the game at my work. I wanted to set up a demo table one weekend but apparently the store would only promote something that would drive sales of product, and I can't say "Hey... can I demo this game that will totally probably be on our shelves in 2 years?" So I'll just see about signage.

Everyone I know who can donate is donating but I tweeted Matt from 2 best friends play to see if they plan on giving the demo a look.

Since Markiplier is back to making videos do you think if we all tweeted him politely he'd look at it? Also Northernlion is on the indie scene so he may be a potential ally.

Oh, forgot I've tweeted Steve Stamatiadis, the maker of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and Blade Kitten (Kit Ballard =D) and he said "Interesting" (a good interesting as I asked lol). Not sure if he donated or not, but hey.

I'm curious if we can maybe get Retsupurae to maybe take a look at it. Diabeetus and Slowbeef like Metroid, so they might like this game.

The people over on Youtube's Countdown community love Metroid! I know the Quarter Guy pretty well, but he's not super interested and has other things he has to focus on. However, people like Joshscorcher, Rabbidluigi, Wiidude, and a number of other people over that could create a decent commotion. I unfortunately have no way to contact them or show it off, but if anyone else can, I get a feeling they may be able to drum up hype over in that group, and Rabbid has a pretty massive amount of subs.

Totalbiscuit and Jesse Cox could be pretty interested, and Jesse is pretty tight.

I've also heard the Gamegrumps get to a lot of stuff they're sent pretty quickly, but I don't know the viability of that.

Either way, we need to get the world out and fast.

I'm going to struggle my WiiU to get some of Indivisible's Youtube Video to play, and I'll take a (what I call) WiiU-Shot and make some fan art to post on the MiiVerse. While It's half false advertising (as there's no confirmed/want to confirm a WiiU launch), it'll still get the word out.

Turns out I wasted a perfectly good 2 hour download on the WiiU Youtube app for it to not work... also didn't help that you can't WiiU-cap anything on there so PAH! I'll still do zee doodle..

Edit: CRAP! I accedently deleted it when I was done D= Fuck me T~T I'll do it again later...

Just the kind of thread I was looking for. I have a few ideas myself but I'm kind of shy about approaching people. Unfortunately this might include a few let's players and commentary groups that'd be interested in Indivisible. I also know that Matt Mercer who voiced Zebei in the prototype is the DM in a D&D show on Geek & Sundry which happens to have their players sometimes promote stuff, (some of which they were in) and make absurd donations. Maybe he could be encouraged to mention it?

Sent a tweet to Jim Sterling. Figured he could do a let's play or maybe even help cover Lab Zero's history (which actually involves Konami, FuckKonami)
I welcome others to send shit to him too.

I didn't know about it at the time so I'm hoping someone here knows if there were any big factors or contributors in the Keep Skullgirls Growing campaign. Maybe who and/or what helped could be re-visited or something?

I know some of what helped last time was the Chance of loaning the Z Engine to get "Fighting herds" made, which is a true thing now. So I don't think anyone's really needing the Z engine this go around..

guys don't worry Etika of EWN did some promotion. The guy who loves smash and streams anime hentai games has got us covered... i think...

Well porn was the reason why online video streaming was created so... I guess I'd be OK with someone connected to hentai games help Indivisible. :P

I've read a post on 4chan of a guy who wants to donate 500k but only if they put some fanservice-costume or something in the full game :^)

Probably a troll, should be ignored in my opinion

but yo really the guy does his videos in his boxers... I think Etika looked at Indivisible and then looked back at SkullGirls and erm... let's say the room got very heated for him after that.

What?
Did he fart alot or something?

Tweeted Somecallmejohnny. He usually loves these types of games so maybe he would take a quick look at it with his new spotlit segment.

Well it's not surprising. Skullgirls did bring in a bunch of perverts...so...yeah.

I've been thinking for a bit that one thing we could really use are some promotional posters. A few people have already talked about putting things up at their work/school/gaming meetups. Any idea how we could organize this?

posters? scratches chin...

hmmmm... Welp let's ask the LZ crew if it's cool to do something like that. And if they green light we'll get a few people here to make some poster designs and post em up here so people can print em out and then hang em.

There are a buncha places around my community College I could put them. I'd need permission to do it, but I don't see too many issues with it. I'll drop a poster to our local gaming and anime clubs, too. I've already played SG with a few of them, though I don't know if it'll get anyone to help, given this is a community college and everyone here is pretty low budget...

I might be able to put some up in some other areas if they give the OK. I'm all for this idea! :D

I can't see Lab Zero saying no to more publicity.

@render, green light?

We gotta get Zone on this immediately.
He can make one of those demo flashes and lock off the full game until we reach funding.

lol the ultimate in blueballing. I'm pretty sure someone said that Zone was aware of the campaign, so perhaps he'll keep spreading the word if people keep showing him they're interested.

if anything, he would've already been on this, so I suppose it's not happening

What about the other SG forums/sites that are around the place - Steam, GameFAQs, wikia, etc.? Has anybody tried those? I know Kai has been doing stuff on the reddit front with /r/Skullgirls and /r/Indivisible already.

Totalbiscuit and Jesse Cox could be pretty interested, and Jesse is pretty tight.

Not sure about TB. Does he play early builds of games? I know he reviewed Skullgirls and enjoyed it so Indivisible might interest him.

As for Jesse, I'm sure if enough of us sent requests to him he might play it for one of his Fan Fridays.

Of course! But I don't think I'll have time to put together hi-res artwork for you to use until sometime tomorrow.

In the meantime, here's a PNG of the logo.

I think the fact that this campaign is so well made, considering recent events, should be reason enough for TB to at least address it somehow and give his thoughts to the situation. Because I'll be damned if this isn't saying a lot about crowdfunding and the industry in general when concept art and empty promises get you farther than actual content and a pro-customer attitude.

I was doubtful about getting TB's attention because he's probably endlessly swamped for requests for promotion, but actually this seems right up his alley. There is the fact that Lab Zero are a pro-consumer studio that have already delivered solid games, and that their crowdfunding has always been honest about why and how much money is needed (as opposed to games like Yooka-Laylee that are already funded but go to kickstarter anyway), and I'd actually like to hear more of his thoughts about if/how one type of marketing is damaging it for those that have no other option.

I guess even if TB doesn't show himself playing the game, him just talking about the IGG and what it's doing would be more than helpful.

Oh yeah, I just remembered some more people we could rope into this: Dodger and Cryaotic.

They would kind of have to be aware: Zone helped animate the prototype final boss.

Thanks so much Render!
I actually have a college project where I have to create posters for supporting some sort of charity cause, etc. I was planning of using the Indivisible campaign for this - hell, maybe i share the finished product here with you guys :) Hopefully it gets approved.

Might I suggest asking someone from Vinesauce to take a look at the prototype? At least Vinny is known for playing and loving metroidvanias and the like, not too sure about the others.
