Yeah he's a nice guy. He's got a lot of regular viewers and friends in the speedrunning community too so who knows, maybe some other streamers will pick it up as a result.

I just thought of something has the GameXplain guys heard about Indivisible yet?
I mean they are mostly a nintendo centered youtube but they do have interest in the indie seen. they've shown interest in Shovel Knight and Bloodstained
and seeing how IGA does give the prototype the approval
and Shovel Knight is going to be a guest character
maybe we should inform them about the game? or has someone already done that

Yeah, I know, but at least it's better than nothing. I tend to keep myself away from gaming news site, at least during the campaign, because there's still a lot of people who do nothing but talk shit about the game and L0. I'm so glad the campaign is looking much better now, though, but we gotta keep that pace. I wonder if L0 is going to "reveal" some of the guest characters? Like, some sprites for the ones that are already confirmed and announcements about potential guest characters.

Very few people commented alongside their reblogs. Of those, maybe one-third or one-quarter were negative. (I counted maybe four; once turned out to be more cynical than openly condemning). Heh, being in Australia is a weird way to experience the campaign. Half the awake-day in the US takes place when I'm asleep, so from 5pm onwards is the "very little progress" time.

That said, I do think the post got through quite a bit. Indivisible does indeed have many virtues that tumblr users have been saying should be in games; once they know it exists, they can't NOT fund and/or boost it and make those same statements in good faith. (On the flip side, those who claim that its diversity indicates "pandering to SJWs" are quite misguided. But thankfully, tumblr tends to ignore or deride that sort of person.)

Also, the more people see it the more people evolve into anxious-yet-rabidly-determined advocates for the game, and more likely to contribute to the Big Push.

Surprised there's negative comments about something like this on tumblr, especially since you said they think it'll pander towards them. Then again, there's always going to be a few people that are going to be angry/negative no matter what.

It's even worse when you look at the tags (there's an extension that lets you look at the tags of posts).

I hate this, why do people think a game needs to or does pander to anyone other than "whoever enjoys it".
 
an employer once told me a customer who complains is a customer who comes back, if they real don't like it they will keep harping about it making more people aware of it even if the feedback is negative it's still advertisement. not everyone is going to see their post a feel the same way as they do.

also I tweeked etika about the guest character thing maybe he can do another video about indivisible

couldn't find GameXplains contact information so I just message them on Facebook (someone at the channel got to look through those messages right? that's one more person on board than if I didn't try at all)

and I informed GamerJoint (he's usually a 3d game kinda kid so maybe seeing really good 2d animation might spark some interest from him)

Yeah, as long as more people see the game, that's what matters. At face value, the game is already doing things a lot of other games aren't, so the nature of its presentation is going to cause a split in opinions regardless. The person that reblogged the post with "lol I see Bikni Armor. Hypocrisy!" is undoubtedly going to have a follower that sees it and thinks "Y'know, she's the buffest character in this lineup. I kinda don't mind." There are just so few games that provide characters like Ajna and Phoebe in those respective roles at all.

The current exposure's definitely going a long way so far, but I'd really like to see another big Streamer or YTer jump on this in the next few days. If the weekend had a bunch of channels playing or talking about the prototype, that'd definitely help curb the weekend funding slump that's probably coming. Let's hope our messages have been getting through to them.
 
I think a few popular YTers will jump on soon. The reason I think so is kind of a domino effect of popularity. A lot of people have been spreading the news and it's been leaning a lot of others to take note of it and so on and so forth. I think the news of Indivisible is about to snowball up to a point where popular personalities are going to start spreading some news about it as well.
 
I used to have a nice lil program that made custom sprays that animated.. If I was able to access it, I would make a Spray that'd fade from Ajna to her Heruka form when you get close XD

Also damn it Skullheart.. stop unfollowing topics.. specially ones I've Made >.<

There is literally nothing wrong if Pewdiepie covers this IGG. I would still be fine with overreactions as long as the general gist of the video is clear enough to viewers/followers with "this game is pretty good, go support, IGG link on description/video"

If just only 1% of his 40 million+ subs all gave just $1 hypothetically [which is plausible scenario even if demographic majority are kids, don't give a fuck about this game, poor, whatever] we would still be seeing a roughly 400k jump because sub size is just that huge. That is good advertisement for something that is not television. If you thought the GG spike was noticeable you would be surprised when they are not even 10% the size.

I honestly doubt Maximilian would do anything for the game (I've seen people message him already, no effect), but Kenny might be a good person to talk to. At least he plays SG!
 
poke rooolie if you want but ask him to have him play the prototype on "YoVideoGames" (just more traffic there :I )
 
I've contacted Angry Joe about it, he likes RPGs and fighting games and he would appreciate the way Lab Zero is handling their campaign.

Edit: Ninja, asking someone to play a game but do it on someone else's channel seems a bit openly cynical. If he plays it and enjoys it, it's very likely that Max will then play it on stream/yovideogames.

Yeah, props to Mr. Coffield and the Supporters. That's the first time I've seen an Indivisible post shoot to the top of a popular someone's YTChannel/Twitter/Facebook, so definitely go give it a thumbs up if you haven't. Not sure if Mark will see it, but maybe other people perusing the page will.
 
I really hope that we can at least make that extension goal. does anyone know what percent we need for the extension?
