"Yo, I'm letting my friend type up something here cuz SH keeps thinking his information looks like spam whenever he tries to create a profile. I'll probably also let him find out who he needs to contact about that after this"
[ "Hi, this is Nathaniel. I wanted to repost my thoughts from the Indigogo comments section on here back when I first thought of them, but apparently this site hates new members.
Anyways, while reading Tatanga's character profile back during his incarnation update, I found myself thinking their story could be the center of their own game. In fact all of the incarnations feel like they'd have their own individual stories to tell, which again got me thinking: what if after Indivisible is fully funded (fingers crossed!!), Lab Zero were able to expand the main game with DLC "Game Levels" staring some of the incarnations in their own games? Think about it, each incarnation could have their own style of game: a 2D S'mup game for a character like Zebei, other characters could star in a combo-brawler type level, a "Ghosts 'N Goblins" styled brutal platformer, a runner-inspired game for Lanshi or Yan (suggested by solblade44), you name it!
Indivisible has the unique potential to take advantage of these unique characters to present extra content in ways not limited to the original game, all achievable with some minor tweaks to what's already in the base game.
Which brings me to my second "DLC" idea: a Single-Button "Party Fighter" mode staring a select cast of the available incarnations. Once again taking advantage of the colorful cast, Lab Zero could bring a bit of their expertise in Vs fighters to create fun little fighting game into Indivisible with just a few tweaks. I mean they already 4 characters on the screen at one time, what if each incarnation could be controlled separately between 4 players locally on the couch? A super meter already exist for charging a super move right, it would just need to be split/duplicated for each character. One button would be to jump and one would be for their attack (still using cool-downs depending on the directional input), and one button to activate their super once the meter is filled. A player would be KOed when their health reaches zero. It could be a fun "Smash Bros" mode to play with your friends to add to an already amazing looking game.
What are all your thoughts on these ideas? What type of Micro Adventure would you like to see for an incarnation? Do you think Indivisible could work as a Smash Bros-like Party Fighter? Let SolB know :P
Thanks again for letting me use your account buddy! Hopefully this site can get their spam filter to respond better to new members ><" ]
