I already have 30+ posts, but whatever.
Hello. My name is Vladislav or Vlad for short (Not to be mistaken with Vadsamoht) and I live in Estonia, a Post-Soviet country most of you probably have never heard of and you'd probably be even more surprised to find out that Estonian isn't my 1st language, because around 25-30% of population are Baltic Russians and other Russian speaking nations. I used to be known by my PSN name as Vlad7779311, because I like the music by Prince and his proteges like the Time. I now call myself Vladislav_Paizis online, because Paizis is a pun on Pisces.
I played fighting games like MK series (Including the terrible 3D games), Tekken Series, Street Fighter Alpha series, Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution and some SNK games in arcades like Samurai Shodown. I was mostly a casual player who played against CPU, but then I got really interested in FGs when MK9 and SF: 3sOE were released.
I read about Skullgirls on Shoryuken.com and I used to think it will be a shallow fanservice game that focuses more on bouncy boobs and pantyshots, but then I heard that an experienced tournament player (Mike Z) was working on the gameplay and then I became curious.
SG was delayed on EU PSN, so one of my friends bought the game from the US store. I originally wanted to play as Valentine, because I like ninjas, but my friend already picked Val and I didn't want a mirror match. I don't remember, but I either picked Solo Fortune or Fortune/Double and defeated him.
I played the Vanilla release for awhile, then I dropped it to focus on other fighters that were popular in my small offline scene, like SSF4AE2012 (Which I now dislike). I got back to the game this January during the Breast Cancer Fundraiser and I've been playing as Solo Fortune at first (Not the most beginner-friendly character. >.<), then I tried out Fortune/Parasoul and now I currently play as Cerebella/Ms. Fortune (HURRAH for HK Fiber Upper buffs). I mess around in training mode with Squigly and Double and I wanna try out Valentine again, Peacock or Filia and try experimenting with different teams. I'm very excited for Eliza and Beowulf, because they were in my Top 10 Candidates for DLC list and they both won!
I mostly play on Steam right now and I'd consider myself probably as a lower-intermediate/intermediate player. I get bodied by good players, but I end up curb stomping newbies.
I also like Tekken Tag Tournament 2, ArcSys games, UMvC3 and thinking of going back to KOF13, but my laptop is terrible for it.
