Kamen Rider +maybe weekly Drive updates

yes, W actually has a bit of homages to the wind elements of the first riders henshin. the best one is actually in the movie where W is falling off the tower, and the wind of Futo helps them, and you get a little zoom in of the Xtreme memory, its hard to see but once you know its there you can't help but feel like a little fanboy about it.

theres a lot of the Showa stuff I love, like Amazon's brutality (it actually has a lot going on with such a short series, you'll be surprised), Super-1's sleek and amazing design, V3's badass dark backstory, and the extreme production genius of Black.

you should also check out the movie riders: ZO, J and Shin. I've only seen ZO, haven't gotten around to Shin and J.

speaking of, has anyone noticed in the movies where multiple riders are present that Shin always seems to look depressed?

yeah, but even in Super Hero Taihen, he actually did this thing that made him seem like a nice guy. I love depressed Shin. Poor guy.
 
All I know of Shin is that his Henshin frigging brutal along with his finishing move.

Without having seen the episode yet, this has to be the driver that the green overlord picked up before. And because it’s not a Genesis Driver, will that mean were seeing the original Melon form again? Because I always thought this one had way to less screen time.
 
well, we all knew Takatora wasn't gonna die and that there was a driver floating around in possession of the more curious of the overlords, but they were more subtle about it so it can be predictable but it's not like it was "LOOK! THERES STILL A CHANCE FOR HIM!" it was more of an attentive fan thing.

and yes, base melon arms needs to make a return, by decimating the genesis riders and zan-micchy. they'll never get past his shield!

the only time it was mecha was the powerdizer in fourze, and fourze never pilots it as far as I've seen!

This week on Kamen rider Gaim

Of course as one of previous posts showed, Takatora lives hooray.
Now that we have a full look at Roshue his design is pretty frigging badass.
Scenes with Mai and Bandou, at least they are still relevant as opposed to many of the other sides characters that have vanished out of existence.
Micchy still a scumbag.
From what it seems Sid did think his plan through, good job 9 out of 10 for planning this out.
And micchy is playing all three sides now, god damn just how far can you sink?
I am wondering what takatora is going to do at this point, since it doesn't look like he can transform with that belt and unless he meets up with someone he is still stuck in the forest.
Kaito vs Sid fight was good as well.
Kouta vs Fake zangetsu fight, yes finally he is going to reveal that it is micchy and micchy is so gonna get his ass handed to him for being an unbelievable scumbag and...... Goddamn it Red overlord worst possible frigging time. Although I am a bit disappointed Kouta didn't try anything like where is micchy and see he is not around at all and think something is wrong here.
Oh holy varying levels of crap, the red overlord broke into the normal world.
The ending What. WHAT. WHAT. ...... Oh it's Kikiaider that's fair enough I thought red overlord had truned into some red blue kind of guy thingy........ what is kikaider?

I have only recently learned that he majority of the suit actors form the Heisei era are done by the same guy, That is pretty frigging cool.
 
yeah, the dude is great. it makes me wish suit actors were in more stuff, like doing mocap for 3d animated shows and games. I've found the normal actors in those move around too stiff.

also, did you know Gaku Sano does a lot of his outside suit stunts? watch his fight when Ryouma came after him during the beat rider's final dance. Sano is nimble guy. then again, he is super into fitness.
 
It is quite cool when the actors themsleves are capable of doing stunts as well. With Gaim even though this episode has been a barrage of important information and plot I think we still have a ways to go before Gaim concludes. Also from what I saw in the double movie, there was aguest appearance from ooo. So does this mean that In gaim we will have the cameo from the next rider.

that's sometimes done in the movie. Kikaider is not a new hero, he's a Shotaro Ishinomori original hero. so he's not gonna be the next rider. theres been 2 live action series of kikaider that I know about, as well as an anime adaptation of Kikaider as well. I wanna watch the anime adaptation because I remember it was shown on Adult Swim at one point if I remember correctly.

and yes, actor's being able to do their own stunts are awesome, just like Yoko's actress.

Ah just checking, I will probably see what Kikiader is about at some point.

Just a question, I haven't seen it yet because I want to get through every rider series before getting to it but what is the plot for huge all rider showa vs heisei crossover, is it just, we riders we fight aaaarrrggghh or is Kanzaki Shirou butthurt again or because the plot demands or something like that.

Does that mean we’ll get a stupid gimmick episode next week?! I don’t want that! I want to know how the story goes on! I want to see if Takatora gets a new transformation! I want to see Micchi getting blown up so that Kouta realizes what an asshole he is!

its fine, I mean we had a crossover episode with Tokkyuger and it turned out well. maybe this will help out gaim with its length of episodes. kissing up to Toei isnt a bad thing in the long run usually.
 
Unfortunately it does seem to be the case that we will get a crossover instead of a legit episode, who knows there might be some developments to the story in this episode as well.

Also up to episode 10 of Kamen rider Fourze and have now changed my opinion of best girl from Mui to Tomoko.
Edit: and now I have reached episode 11, Goddamnit yuki.

and another thing that came to my mind, who are all the suit actors for whenever they do huge kamen rider crossovers, that is alot of suit actors they need to find when they normally have a few.

And I was foolish for thinking otherwise before hand. Also really enjoying fourze at the moment. It has a good fun cast of characters.
 
literally, Fourze is just fun. I love it. I don't mind a Rider series that's not so serious, and Fourze makes me happy and can even get me to shed a tear at some moments.

like, I was with Gentaro when he cried at the detention story.

fun fact about Tomoko, her last name is Amazon spelled backwards, and her actress, Shiho, was born on the 18th anniversary of Kamen Rider Amazon.

Ah that's fine then, It's just with some of the stuff like Cakeboss and Falltora I wanted to see if anyone could fine any other stuff from there since I have no idea how to save stuff that I like from 4 chan.

Also I just thought of an Idea, The Falltora image on it's side and make it look like he doing an ace attorney OBJECTION.
 
eh, it seems like he's not really in the right position to be doing the objection though. its not a bad idea if someone could get one of his falling frames to where he'd look better doing it.

okay guys, I learned that kiwami arms will appear on 6/24, so we still have more episodes coming for another month at least. and lets hope we get just a little more for this series. I don't want to believe Gaim will have less episodes than it needs to.
 
I'm super happy right now, I finally managed to get a pre-order up for the Orange Arms-FiguArt from Gaim. Will be my first Kamen Rider figure. I hope to get Banana Arms too, since both Gaim and Baron's first run will include kickass display pieces.

That’s Gaim's ultimate form, has been confirmed by toys. Spoiler yourself further, or don’t.

It’s an update to Kachidoki that is used like the Mix with the Genesis Core, Gaim first uses Kachidoki, then inserts the Kiwami lockseed into a new module and transforms to his final form. Kiwami lockseed has the form of a fruit bag or something like that; its special ability is that it can use all weapons from all other lockseeds.

I believe that this could be the fruit of knowledge that they’re all after, in lockseed form.
 
Not looking at spoilers must distract my self with other rider series.

Just a thought, how does Kouta compare power wise to some of the other riders so far, he has been quite good so far but power wise how do you guys rank him?
