Tympani is relatively easy to make safe, and last I remember Scalpels is 0 on block.
But the mindgames tho. =P
Didn't Peanut's make a video about punishing Tympani, and he showed that no matter what you do you can only lessen how punishable it is up until a point (just above the ground at max range of Tympani) but even then, if your character has a fast enough attack with enough range it can still be punished.
I feel like I read the script to a pornoBeowulf's grab stance time limit is completely reset after any attack.
