As expected, and is now tradition, after the viewing of the new movie, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction which is now open in theatres across Japan, confirmation was given in form of a trailer for the 18th movie, due for release this time next year. Not much is known about this movie, but the trailer featured Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre. Details of the movie are completely unknown, but we'll provide details as and when they come
I'm not that interested in the pokémon movies, but do think they are better then the main serie. But it's interesting they will go back 3 gens. Don't know that has happend earlier (as I said, not that interested). Will they just suddenly go/swim/float/fly back to Hoenn?

You're assuming that Groudon and Kyogre aren't deity pokemon that control the entirety of the planet's water and earth. They could be anywhere, they just happened to be in Hoenn when gen 3 was around.

But wasn't Kyogre and Groudon lying dormant in Gen 3?
 
I'm not certain of that, but even if they were, they just chose a Hoenn to take a nap :P I would too. I mean it's a gorgeous region.
 
plus plenty of water for Kyogre to make itself comfy in. :V

Actually I did a little bit of research (AKA I look at the Dex entry's in bulbapedia) and I found squat other than Kyogre and Groudon fought and then slept and that Rayquaza only really comes down when they fight. So I guess that Kyogre and Groudon fought and formed the land and seas and Rayquaza was like "piss off you two" and then the two slept til this day.
Rayquaza is confirmed as grouchy old man
But that doesn't stop the anime, as Groudon and Kyogre have both appeared in the anime at some point but never had a movie (only Rayquaza and Deoxois)
 
well there was that Jirachi movie but
that groudon wasn't exactly real
 
That thing was more like a tentacle monster with the power of Yveltal than an actual Groudon

So this is happening. I found my GBA and copy of Emerald. The internal battery died, so time based events won't happen, though.

I wish I could find my copy of Emerald. Or Ruby, Sapphire, Silver, and Crystal for that matter. At least I still have my GBC, GBA, and GBA SP in good condition.

Denizen the Blaziken sounds cool though, it really rolls off the tongue. I'm looking forward to seeing the journey of complete and total superiority that this Pokémon will no doubt embark upon. Also thank you Ktulu, I'm flattered.
