I'm kinda glad it isn't more skullgirls stuff. Let skullgirls develop for a year or so with out having to worry about patches and "balance changes"

This goddamnit
okay i will look forward to further announcements mikeIt's easier to say "Metroidvania" than give a long description of mechanics, innit. Both SF4 and SG are "fighting games", but that doesn't make them very similar. I assure you, you ain't seen nothin' like this - Bloodstained is a Castlevania, SG was heavily modeled on MvC2/VSav/GG, but Indivisible isn't trying to be any other game.
Not defending anyone here, but last I checked there the popular Splatoon memes were literally just spamming the game's marketing.
Ravidrath will upload the video when he gets home.
They are, but it's still the ad campaign which isn't the players so much choosing the meme as they are acting like brainwashed zombies.
There is a publisher.
Of course, I never said otherwise, was just pointing that out.
The metroidvania terms is actually pretty easy to define. It's a generally a game set in a singular open world or a set of multiple small open worlds in which player starts out with relatively few abitilies and gains more over time or through progression. Said abilities then give them access to previously inaccessible areas and quicker or alternate routes through previous areas. That's the essence of the term "metroidvania" is how its often used today.
I was definitely getting these vibes as well, especially when looking at the main character's design.
They are making a new game, with inspiration from super metroid and valkyrie profile, called Indivisible. There is a thread for the game already in the off topic part.
Neat. Hate to sound lazy, but can you link it for me? ^_^
We only did CT once, though.
