So the Splatoon Global Testfire events for EST are 11 P.M.-12 A.M. , 7 A.M. -8 A.M. , and 3 P.M.-4 P.M. Those times are really hard to meet, but I want to play this game extremely badly.
 
Let's see, I'm unable to access my WiiU at ANY of those times besides the 3-4 PM.
 
I cannot wait for splatoon too bad the global testfire is hard for me to meet. Actually what idiot thought it was a good idea to host testing as midnight? Isn't the point of a demo test to get as many people hyped about playing your game?

I think the people behind splatoon are thinking that the major playing market will be... Japanese? the WiiU is a bit more popular over there than over in America.

Also the Splatoon Amiibos giving the Mii Warriors Skins in Smash Bros rules out the chance for the Inklings being their own character in Smash Bros, Rip Ballot Vote. #2015

Don't hold your breath just yet. Remember there's a mega man x amiibo costume when Mega man is in the game.
 
X and Mega Man are two separate characters, remember

It'd be more accurate to point out the Link costumes for Sword Miis despite Link himself still in the game

That's the reason they have three separate times. They made it so every time zone in the world has at least one reasonable hour, even if the other two may not be. They're doing an hour at a time likely as a stress test for the servers in a worst case scenario.
 
I still can't believe we need to wait for the brush even though the first trailer showed it off

Well, how else would you do things like the superjump and Inkstrike that require touching the gamepad map?
 
quick side map option when using an other controller. sorta like in Cod how your character will stop and bring up an ipad.

Fuckin' battery life is poop and my screen needs to be replaced because I had a wee accident.
 
Biggest problem anyone and everyone ever has with the gamepad is losing the stylus. Or that may just be me. I lose all my styluses. The size is a bit clunky, but its designed so that even with the size, its really comfortable. I have to hand it to Nintendo, when they design something, its tough and long lasting. Just look at their IPs!

How is this on topic? Uh....w-well...here's hoping to Splatoon that it can join the ranks of such long lasting IPs? Iunno.
 
I hope there's a way to aim without the gyroscope

wiiu game controller with the dual analog sticks or wii remote/ nunchacku. that or that dumb wii pro game pad that no one ever uses.
 
Yeah, sure Squid Squad seems enjoyable. I'm game. I'll be waiting here at Tentacle Acres, where happiness is only a suction cup away.

Anyone going to catch some of the testfire tonight before Salty?

Also, if we make the Squid Squad, our Skullgirls mascot has to be Squidly. There is no other option.

Filia with Samson posing as a Squid head makes more sense honestly. Squigly is just a better.

Of course this is Skullheart, so witty puns win by default.

I would've suggested the Squid Squad have an original mascot, but then no one would know that it's made up of Skullheart users, so what you guys are already doing makes more sense than my scrub ideas.

Also, I may end up being super late to join the Squid Squad, because I have no money. :(
