you can see where it said "Low Ink" in the video

honestly the roller seems like the "noob weapon" of the game, if you ask me
it looks completely gimped if someone outside of spitting range gets a bead on you, but the strength and area that it can cover will probably be handy in the tentacles of a pro.
 
If anything, that video seems to highlight the weaknesses of the roller. The person needed to refill quite a number of inopportune times, and the only "kills" the player got were against players that didn't have the sense to move, whereas the player took a number of "deaths" from players using the basic paint gun from a distance.

They can cover plenty of area, but a good paint roller player probably works way better with another player or two covering them from enemy fire. Especially since the defenders can use the paint roller paint to squid jump and dash effectively.
 
New favorite weapon, right here. I wonder if there are other weapons they won't show us, yet?
 
they showed off a shotgun-like weapon yesterday
high power, low range with a kind of burst to it
real nice weapon variety tbh
the game even seemed cool enough with just the machineguns, but all these different weapons are rad
 
So, basically, this is becoming yet another reason to get a Wii U right now. I wish I had money.
 
You may now scream with excitement. You can get them all as a pack or buy them separately except for the squid.

Plus the missions you download and complete give you special equipment you can only get from that amiibo.​

I personally think it's better to not have names for the inklings other than Inklings.
 
I wonder if the Squid amiibo gives better rewards than the Female and Male Inklings... Considering how you can only get it in a 3-pack, I think that's the case.
 
Or maybe they all give you the same amount and it's a gimmick to make you buy the 3 pack rather than individually, eh?

There's no need to be smart about it, it's speculation. Anyways, I also wonder what the kind of missions the amiibo give you would be like. I mean, a mission that you wouldn't be able to do if you didn't have it otherwise. Something completely different from usual missions.
