Fighting games have a long history of dumb-as-shit endings, and this played on that history, along with a bunch of other things. It's not a fighting game if there's not at least one completely stupid ending, whether intentional, or otherwise :P
I thought this was a fun story mode. I liked it :)

Playing trough the story myself, felt really good, the story in general, and i already liking by watchin in video. I think i'm going to learn R. Fortune. xD
 
Kazuya's face has been burnt into my mind for years now. That ending is like a trigger for the nightmares. I'm not going to be sleeping well tonight.

You know, Seeing Brain Drain re-act to Ms.Fortune this way, I would not mind seeing Fukua Canon in some way shape or form

Brain Drain: OH I SEE HOW IT IS! I CAN MAKE A BETTER YOU IN AN INSTANT!

Brain Drain sees Cerebella and he's like: "She has 4 arms? THAT'S DUMB! YOU'RE DUMB! NOW if you had 6 ARMS then you would be kinda COOL! Infact, I can make you better just come back with me to the lab and I can add on 2 more awesomely powerful robotic arms. Doesn't that sound radical?"

When it started and actually picks up immediately after Val's storyline I was thinking, "Wait, what? This is actually going to be an important canon thing?"
aaaand then about 10 seconds later the Fortune research notes appear.

I really loved this story! It's kind of absurd how many unique character portraits R.Fortune has.

When's Asura vs Marie in some kind of Anime... WITH not Annie cause that would make DDB way too happy.

Brain Drain isn't the best at hosting a Christmas Party at the Labs...

Last Year old Drain Head was trying to act cool in front of everybody because Valentine commented on how he is shut inside of his lab most of the time making him a huge nerd.

The end result was not pretty and He was forced to clean up the mess he made.

Kinda wish the secert personality Valentine protrays with her "report" was canon

Like she is mysterious and what not to everyone else but she always reports this kind of stuff to Brainy and it pisses him off

When's reports on everybody included in the art gallery titled "Val's Records"

Well, If I remember right, Alex said Valentine is a canon Weeaboo outside of work. So we can use this as just a peek at her softer side.

Heck, I bet she even has an Annie cosplay costume somewhere.

Actually... Did I miss something, or does Valentine's encounter with Robo not really make sense? She says it's Brain Drain's paranoia that she turned traitor, but this was after Valentine obviously led an assault on Lab 8. Also, she says she's trying to "Save Christmas," but I thought it was really clear Last Hope were pushing daisies? Game mechanics involving a level 5 super aside, not really a whole lot to save there...

Valentine was pissed BD labeled her a traitor AFTER she contacted him. Also, we don't know what happened with Last Hope's final battle, maybe Val was late or last to arrive.
 
Why is Annie so good at teasing tho, the ending had me expecting her to be suddenly playable, only dreams now and forever.

I am giggling.

Although I am not fond of meme abuse, it was a fun story. Also it has been a signature of Skullgirls till now.

My only fear is that we don't see Fukua or Robo in the future because both are joke characters. I would be satisfied having them both in joke materials.

If I remember from a stream a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago, Mike_Z or Alex said Robo would have a comedic role in SG 1, but from 2 and onwards might have a more serious impact. Mainly stuff like exploring Lab Zero and BD's other experiments.

The ending was basically days of future past. All hopes rest now in Isaac's and Umbrella's shoulders.

Crazy theory. Valentine's assault on Lab 8 was part of her cover and what she deemed to keep her position so she could keep feeding information to Brain Drain. That or most of this is non-canon and trying to make it all fit together is like getting 12 puzzle sets, dumping all the pieces into one big pile, and then trying to make one image. IDK. We need canon story mode yo!
