The better reason in my opinion to hate Akali is that she was and still is absolutely braindead. She has no skillshots so that crazy burst is guaranteed if you walk into her range. That being said her burst does more than some actual mid-laner's bursts that require skillshots. So basically unless you're Jax or some other crazy level 6 top/mid laner, Akali flat out wins.

On top of that you normally build spellvamp on her, meaning she is pretty self-sustainable in lane, and she has a somewhat reliable escape mechanism in her ult.

That and the idiot who always seems to lane against her doesn't know to leave her alone at level 6, feeds her 3 kills, and hey look an Akali that can walk anywhere on the map and not give two shits. Thanks Akali.
(Yes there are ways to counter Akali but they are non-existant in most soloQ games)

Edit: As an aside, my next IP goal is 3150 for the good golem himself. I need to diversify my support options because I only really use Taric and Janna (And recently Yorick along my friends Kalista which works really well).

I've been training in every other lane so when I soloQ I don't drag the team down and I'm happy with my progress in top and mid lanes as of recent. Jungle is still a problem for me because it is hard to juggle farming and ganking so I can keep up with items and xp. Once the new season starts I'm going to climb from Silver to Gold in the ladder.

I've heard you can be a giant bully if you play thresh and blitz on bot lane.
 
So... yeah... Fizz AD is kinda solid mid. You just need not to die early.

Fun fact: That ult, as seen in slow motion, would of missed if Blitz didn't grab someone. I accedently fired that Ult the wrong way XD

Something I didn't know about Thresh when I first started playing League was that his basic attack isn't a melee attack but counts as a ranged one. (Obvious now but a few weeks into when I started playing league he came up in the free rotation. I thought that he was hitting people with his chain/scythe so it's obviously a melee attack)
I bought a ravenous Hydra in one go because I didn't buy a lot of items that game and thought that I would lifesteal my way into victory...nope.

I'm a wiser player now, so much wiser.

Went into an easy bot match to try a new Jinx build. Went 18/0/? (forgot).... man.. I remember when those bots kicked my butt..

edit now I'm home it actually was 20/0/11. Huh... I was the only one on the team that didn't die o.o

seriously though, I like me some midlane Pantheon. I just like mid in general.
 
I'm glad that the first game I played after not playing for 2 months of league went well.
 
here's the thing, if you can't jungle without ALWAYS having a leash, quit jungling. because you're not good at it.

this fuckin' gargas, I swear.
 
Problem is some champs need a leash in order to even have enough health to go to another camp. Only a few champs can actually consistently jungle without a leash on their first buff. Just look at my poor Evelynn
 
yeah, but this guy kept trying three times, didn't even finish off his camp when he was done, and and pretty much fed the entire game.

now, I'm not one for getting after people for feeding because it happens sometimes, but he was just garbage.
 
Well then, that's a different story. Dude needs to practice or something.

One thing a jungler must do every game is have map control of the enemy jungle so as to keep an eye on where the enemy jungler is.
 
so I recently got Ziggs because I have five bucks and RP to spare, and I think I'm deiniftely a mid lane mid now...

Also, an update on why Jinx has gotten a new skin yet.

We've had plenty of ideation sessions for Jinx, some concepts also. We scrapped a couple because they weren't quite hitting the right feels. That said, Jinx is also a lot of work from a technical side since she has 3 weapons which all have unique animations, limbs, hair, lots of moving parts. VFX also, each weapon ability having distinct visuals. What's currently in the works will be getting a nice overall treatment, it'll take a little time. - IronStylus​

atleast they acknowledged they are making a skin. Though the way that's written, Ult Skin? =D

Also a source to that quote would be cool. Not doubting ya, would like to read it and maybe reply uppon it.
