What'd I- oh, yea, no creepy stuff. So, uh, Delfino would be cool. I loved pushing people off, mainly those without a good recovery jump...
 
did the twister and sky segment ever actually make it in
i don't remember those at all

but yeah considering that it's not really a japanese thing, and Sakurai is, as far as I understand, a japanese man
i can't imagine much tomorrow
unless sakurai learned of april fools and he reveals ridley as a stage hazard tomorrow for maximum trolling
then I will just love him for many generations to come

As far as I know, April Fool's is a thing in Japan, it's just not very big. And it might be in poor taste for a professional business to partake in such things in Japan. Not 100% sure though, just a guess.

I have a feeling Sakurai is hardly a professional businessman. Can you imagine him in a suit? I don't think we've ever seen him in a suit. He always dresses so casually.

Reggie, Miyamoto and Iwata, yes. I can only see them in suits. But Sakurai always seemed like this sort of rebellious but well intentioned ... other dude
 
Sakurai is like the middle point of a scale of Hideki Kamiya to Satoru Iwata in terms of how professionally dressed they look

I'd say he's closer to Kamiya, actually. The middle point would be business casual, and I hardly see ANY business in Sakurai.

Probably has something to do with him not actually being a part of Nintendo. He doesn't have to dress to their standards, he's pretty much his own boss.

So apparently there's a new "leak" (inb4aprilfoolsblahblahblah) of ZSS's design.

Ignoring the fact it is 98% fake, I'd actually be pretty okay with it. It has parts of Other M's design but not too much. We can't see if heels are a thing (they never bothered me though) but otherwise if the design is similar to this, I'd be more than okay.

You're full of shit Sakurai, it's painfully obvious that's a custom stage. I expect another post saying "April Fools! It's actually a custom stage built by one of the interns at the office. That's right, the custom stage builder is making a return!"

I saw it months ago as one of those fake character pages that can easily be disproven by going to the site.

New Turbo Tuesday for Project M with "more friends"

Mind you, Turbo Mode originally was a joke mode for April Fools day, so any of these (Maybe other than Ike Climbers) could be made "real" and balanced​

I love how they intentionally gave the idea that Ridley would be getting introduced with a Turbo Tuesday, only to be Samus. That was clever. Plus, the Turbo Tuesday was actually pretty good.

Ike Climbers were amazing. I loved them so much <3
Those grab combos were awesome!

Slippy could possibly become an alt. costume for Fox (without the Star Fox 64 dialogue, of course), but I think the PMBR stated that, with the exception of Dr. Mario, they weren't planning on making alt. costumes that are a different character.

That is a good point, but I guess they consider him different. This is the quote from their website about the rule:

"When it comes to making costumes, there are a few self-imposed rules that we follow for both technical and aesthetic purposes. All costumes will always be the "same" character. This is due to the fact that we cannot change the voices or sound effects of a character on a costume by costume basis on an extensive basis. Mario is an exception to this rule as his file structure just so happened to be set up in a way we could make Dr. Mario work in full capacity."
