what if boss ridley is normal ridley and playable ridley is other m ridley? I mean it makes more sense since we got Other M Samus and Other M-ish Zero Suit

But it's an other M stage, and the characters should try to represent different games from the metroid series, and buff ridley would just look like a shitty dragon scaly if he was playable size.
(Not implying he's not always a shitty dragon scaly, it's just a little bit better when he's giant.)

Yeah, but the stage that potential boss Ridley has been shown on and hinted at is the Pyrosphere.
Which actual Ridley has never set claw in.
And I fucking hate Other M's Ridley.

SSB 3DS, since it comes out before the Wii U, you'll naturally unlock all characters...and since the roster in the same in both versions, won't that be a weird spoiler?

Also, what is wire frame Giga Mac going to look like?

Probably the same. Brawl never gave the transform Final Smashes the different colors, so 4 probably won't either.

Well, the point of spoilers is to avoid seeing game content before you experience it yourself.
So as long as you experience it yourself in the 3DS version it shouldn't be that big of a deal, right?

Mac's final smash should be called "Big Mac Attack" instead of Giga Mac.

Possibly, you never really know.
I'm also pretty sure after that, we'll get nothing btu Wii U pictures if we're still getting updates.

Also, her FS would be summoning Adam who deauthorizes all the opponents and forces them to not be able to attack or jump

Giga Mac is actually what that thing is called in-game in the Punch-Out game
so calling it Big Mac Attack wouldn't make any sense...

WOW! I'm super hyped for this game man. You don't even know! Holy cow that was some good shit!

The REALLY Good: Ridley in the "Bosses" section. I screamed for joy. Not only because I would love to kick the shit out of him as a boss and stage hazard but also because it's like 95% confirmed that he's not playable. What playable character moves in that kind of manner? Tell me who the fuck just floats there and flies away slowly. Not even Pit does that anymore.

The Good: My favourite part was seeing all the new legendary pokemon that'll be in the game. Also, Charizard on his own is a pretty badass addition with a slightly tweaked moveset it appears. Excellent :D Greninja... wasn't too hyped about that, but I'm sure he'll grow on me. The stages and learning the release date for the 3DS was pretty exciting. I'll likely end up getting that one now unless MK8 can hold me off until the winter (Which, by the looks of it, likely could easily). And the Palutena trolling was really funny and the amount of information we get is just amazing. Lack of transformations makes me hella excited.

The Bad: I love boobs, but ZSS has gotten to the point where it's like what the fuck. That is absolutely ridiculous. Give her a natural cup size and she'd be a million times more attractive in general. But unfortunately, that's my opinion and thus isn't justification of a bad character design. (Holy shit those are gigantic. It takes away from everything else. Calm your dick, Nintendo.)

The REALLY Bad: You guys who are all like "B-but, it wasn't explicitly stated that Ridley isn't playable! H-he could still be in as playable! I m-mean I even have a fan-made moveset for him that'll totally work!" Just do us a favour, suck on the video footage of Ridley and stop trying to find a way to make him playable.
 
Ridley still has a chance, his shadow was small, and his movement wasn't even very boss-like.
You can't stop my hype for him.
You can't stop the other more insane people for him either.

Call me whatever you like, but I still have hope for the future.

Plus, I feel that Giga Mac was a ripoff of Giga Bowser. I mean they both basically have the same final smash unless Bowser's gets a new one.

it was very obviously intentionally left ambiguous.
If Sakurai wanted to straight up say that Ridley is just a boss character he'd have shown Ridley screeching while Samus or someone attacked him with the same no-sell flinching as the Yellow Devil.
But he didn't, and it's very clear that he's trying to build up to SOMETHING with this whole Ridley debacle, whether it ends up with Ridley being playable or being a stage hazard is anyone's guess at this point
but quit being a dick to people who appreciate a character and want representation from one of Nintendo's biggest series.
Because all this tasting the salt of people who like such-and-such character is really kinda sociopathic and terrible. Just in general, but also in this case.

It was building up the hype before the inevitable reveal of Ridley as a boss of Pyrosphere. What other reason would he be included in the boss section for? Do you even know how that's organized? He'd be in the newcomers or characters section if he was going to be playable. Use some damn logic before complaining and look at yourself grasping for the finest of straws before you start calling me a dick.

I would've really REALLY, passionately wanted Mewtwo to return but seeing this now... The chances are so completely slim... It's sad. No need for me to be like "Well there's still another couple pokemon reps they have room f-for! He's gotta be one of them!" The last spot's likely going to Jigglypuff and there's nothin I can do about it. End of line.

Also keep in mind that there are now TWO Metroid reps: Samus and ZSS.

If Ridley was straight up shown to be stage hazard then I'd be like, okay guys, Ridley's not in, let's pack up the goddamn Ridley wagon and go the fuck home.
But he wasn't, Sakurai's teasing something and until Ridley is downright said to be a boss character we can't really be sure what that is.
Sakurai had two intentional fake-outs this direct, not people expecting something and then him not doing that, but two honest to God fake-outs, but we're expected not to take any further meaning out of a mysterious shadow and a topic that's been building since the Pyrosphere was first announced?

Yeah, and when Mewtwo wasn't announced no one went up to you and said, Hah, suck it you piece of shit, Mewtwo should never be playable again and your stupid for thinking otherwise.
I'm more mad at this trend of laughing at people who dared to get their hopes up than I am at you specifically.

You know, I don't know why they bothered adding Zelda and Ganondorf and Shiek, Link and Toon Link are really the only two characters you need.
Especially considering now that the Mario series has five reps, and the Zelda and Pokemon series will most likely have 5 as well.

Unless Sakurai's saving his reveal for a later date, and he was just messing with people. It's not like this is the last of the newcomers or anything. Hell, Palutena is all but confirmed at this point, even though she's just been teased multiple times, and wasn't shown in the newcomers section.

And seriously, when are people going to learn not to take everything Sakurai says or does at face value?

And on top of that, can't help but feel the Trophy Quizs were hinting at something.
Again, Fire Emblem (Towi? Can't remember her name, Chrom?), Fi (Zelda, Ghirahim?), Hive (Ridley?), and Psuedo Palutena (duh)
