The Smash Bros Discussion Thread


Unused announcer clips found. Of note there's:
-Boss Battle
-Tourney
-Event Match
-Special Smash
-Grab the Coins
-8 player smash

Most of these seem like possible modes that will be returning to the Wii U version, but 8 player smash...that's very interesting.
 
Player icons up to 8p were also found in the game's code. Interesting.

Maybe they'll come to the 3DS version as DLC later? I can't imagine them really sharing code.
 
A match with all the Koopalings on the screen at once.

Grinding for customs is getting really really tiring and I'm the first character still.

I've got 25 Sonic customs... but only 5 unique, still need 3 more

Which is why it's not in the game. But whatever it is must have had a lot of work put into it to get far enough to have narrator lines recorded.

Wow, I totally forgot about those games. 8 Player mini-games made for the greatest salty addition to birthday parties and group hangouts.

So here's something I just found out (forgive me if it's common knowledge, but I hadn't heard anyone say it):
Apparently Villager can pocket the power pellet at the end of Pac-Man's sideB
before he's finished laying it out.
Like it travels forward, Villager pockets it, and the move just ends leaving Pac-Man back in neutral.
