Does the peel count as Diddy's if you reflect/pocket it, or is he still locked out of summoning another one?

"Appears In" confirmed for Wii U version!

It was kind of dumb that this wasn't in the 3DS version, looking at trophies isn't nearly as nice if you can't appreciate the games they originated from.

If Villager pockets the banana, then Diddy can't use another, holy shit. That's hilarious.

EDIT: Turns out the pocketed banana disappears after some time, so Diddy gets his back.

I wonder if they'll use a Sega Genesis logo for Sonic this time around. It'd be a nice touch.

So does anyone here think they'll revisit Brawl after Smash 4 comes out for the Wii U?

Right now the only thing that keeps me coming back to Brawl is the fact that I can play it with my group of friends (only one of which has Smash for 3DS). And once the Wii U game comes out, I probably won't ever touch it again.

There's Lucas and the Ice Climbers.

Outside of project m, probably not.

Every stage that made me love Brawl is included in Smash 4 Wii U (and 75m but it's improved this time around with fall through platforms). Aside from like, hacking it, there isn't much need. Plus, IMO all the newcomers make up for the lost characters almost twofold.

Well, I still play melee from time to time because I like certain stages and the adventure aspect in addition to the points you get (I like reading them and stuff lol) and I kinda like the gameplay more than Brawl (melee is faster than brawl to me - and I think I just prefer melee anyway) But yeah, when Wii U Smash comes, I'll still go to Brawl and Melee because they have different things and chars.

Aside from Project M, I will probably never play Brawl again. And my school's gaming club will also never have to play Brawl again, thank god (full of casuals).

Honestly I don't see myself going back to Project M much either, other than to check out new updates. As for the characters that were cut between Brawl and Smash 4, while I do think it's unfortunate that they got the axe, they're not that big of a deal to me since I rarely used any of them anyway.

I've been wanting to play Brawl for a while during the run-up to Smash 4, but my copy is messed up to hell and back so I really can't.

I'll wait for Lucas and ICs (Wolf too) to come back to SmashU, thanks.

So your never buying Smash 4, I take it?

I'll still play PM, probably till the day I die, same thing with Minus, but I can't see myself going back to vBrawl ever again, unless it's at some sort of throwback thing.

I'll go back to brawl because in hindsight I really appreciate the subspace emissary in spite of all its flaws. Best singleplayer mode of any smash bros game by far. And it kind of saves brawl for me because from a versus standpoint it kind of sucked, even at a casual level it could get very defensive and boring.

Honestly, not only do I see myself returning to P:M after awhile of Smash 4, but even discounting how much time I've played it before Smash 4's release, I think I will be clocking more time into P:M long-term.

Especially if P:M brings back Pichu. My little sister is the only person in my house that plays Smash on a mid-highish level besides me, and she loves playing as Pichu.

On an unrelated note, despite being in middle school, my sister is pretty darn good at Smash. We went to a local vanilla Brawl tournament last year (a tournament in which everyone participating besides her was a high school student) and she got 3rd... and she beat me.

That sounds more like you've got a case of the sucks.

Who does she main?

Speak With Your Heart is way better and if that isn't in there will be hell to pay.

Planet Wisp act 1 and 2 as well.

Today is a good day. A really, really good day.

Pretty sure Jigglypuff won that by a landslide.

Who does she main?
If I remember correctly:

Smash N64: Pikachu
Melee: Pichu, Pikachu Secondary
Brawl: Pikachu
P:M: Pikachu, Charzard Secondary

(I personally feel that P:M Charzard is her best character, but she doesn't use it as often due to preference)

It was in Brawl, so there's a pretty big chance it'll be back.

I'm pretty sure almost the entire Brawl soundtrack will be in in some way.
Even...

Even Icicle Mountain?

Oh joy, another vocal main theme that doesn't fit at all.

Windy Hill is going to be Green Hill Zone v2, isn't it?

Should we even expect any remixes?

As far as Sonic's concerned, I just want the Crush 40 Super Sonic Racing and Aquarium Park, then i'm good.

Who cares, the more vocal battle themes the better. If PlatinumGames has made me love on thing, it's that.

who even needs remixes when you already have perfect music

I don't even care if this is sarcasm cause damn it I agree with it. I'd totally be fine with a whole bunch of the original versions cause they're just that damn good.

The former could be the replacement for the classic one in Brawl, but the latter I think is pretty far fetched. It'll be Planet Wisp if it gets another Colors song.

listen here you if there's one thing I'm serious about when it comes to sonic, it is how much I love the vocal themes and I will F I G H T anyone that might disagree

Speaking of remixes, I hope we get some Generations tunes, at least those in the 3DS version of the game.

I would fucking scream if we got modern Speed Highway though.

I though I was the only one that loves Minus. I'm glad that I'm not alone :)

Seeing as I haven't played vanilla Brawl for about 2 years now, I can't see myself ever going back to it ever. Minus, I might play occasionally, but I will be too absorbed in Sm4sh that I'll likely not play it at all.
