The thread where I complain about Filia's bs

Everyone kinda has frame traps though
 
Filia is bullshit. Maybe not the prettiest bullshit. Maybe not the smelliest bullshit with a long range stench. Maybe not the most high quality of bullshit at the top of the list. But sometimes she appears as mud or chocolate on the ground and THAT'S her outrageous mixup game.

If you use late pushblock vs her as a way to have absolute guard when she lands, she's not so hard.
This also has the side-effect of making you invulnerable to throw mixups in addition to high/lows.

Limb = hitbox and vulnerable box all the time
Weapon = hitbox only
Parasite/whatever else = vulnerable box only after hitbox in most cases, can only trade not lose but can be hit as opposed to a weapon.

Fillia is the shit that people leave on the ground in the winter and then what you step in once the snow melts.

Yes. And his legs never hit you in s.HK.
(Also I only decided on that rule after her, I guess I should really fix cr.HP and things though. Hee hee. Though that would also involve fixing Double's.)
 
A lot of her normals don't have hitboxes on samson.
j.lp (some of it is vulnerable, but mostly it's a sword normal)
mp, c.mp
hp, c.hp, j.hp
c.hk j.hk
 
So how come Filia can cancel Fenrir recovery into Gregor?
 
You'd be surprised with the amount of people who aren't ready for that. They're like "omg! she's slightly over there now, I need to go there to punish and... damn, too late". It's amusing! She should keep it just for the funsies.
 
It's because a whiffed Fenrir switches state to whiffed Updo, and Updo has a super cancellable period when it whiffs.
