I just loved Double with sunglasses when she took off her disguise. Made me laugh so hard. Also, I got to see Roxie's appearance in the story.

Beowulf's story wasn't actually YOUR character's story in disguise

I really liked how they used the Zane character to play off of Beowulf's gullibility and love of excitement.
The part where he fought double disguised as him is kind of weird to me. Why would make him fight her as one of the matches?
I thought the battle against Bella was kinda boring. They should've had Bella go into full fangirl mode.

I actually really liked how often Annie appeared in the story. However, when Beowulf was eaten by Double (who's nun form is apparently named 'Sis Agatha'), Annie appearing out of nowhere was a lil' weird. How in the world did she get in Gehenna? I suppose she HAS fought many skullgirls and as such has dealt with Double, but still weird imo. I understand her appearing to save Beo from Double the second time, though. It's refreshing to see Annie in story mode, and I really wish that she was playable.

The ending was actually really nice. Beowulf started to wise up. This story shows the greatest character development out of any story.

Annie
's story.

Liked seeing the extra characters there!

Annie grew on me.
Beo in the story seemed way less fun of a character than Beo when you're playing as him.

We figure if anyone forum goers come into this thread they should be know spoilers are going to be everywhere here from the start. Ok Im going to be that one guy. Beowulfs story was amazing but I still feel kinda..Disatisfied Story felt kinda disjointed and felt more like Annie's story. Beowulf was just there. I really also didn't get why the DLC characters we're there since Beowulf NEVER runs into them.
 
Eh, I still see it as Beowulf's Story Mode, with Annie being his "assist" and sorts.

I have liked the story. Annie may show a bit too much, but funnily enough, her function on the story is to serve as Beowulf's wise old master. She is his Yoda (also green).

Poor guy was used as political propaganda in a horrible rigged match.

Double was great through the story.

That story mode makes DDB speaks lines other than "When's Annie", it's a real miracle!

It was realy fun and lots of cool arts in there!

Alright can someone explain to me WHY were the non DLC characters there like it makes sense for painwheel, cerebella, and big band but why is stanley, feng, and adam in double too when beowulf NEVER meets them. also what happened to Val?

Overall Annie's story mode was great can't wait to see what they do with Beowulf!

This story is great. A warrior seeking the truth. I can't wait to look into it further. I loved it. Just as great as all the other stories.
 
In Zane. Knowing Lab Zero I shoulda seen that pun coming, but my ass was still not ready.

In the beginning, I felt bad for Beo. He had no idea what was going on. What a lovable meathead.

I am most certainly a fan of the Wulf. I remember when it was announced he won the chars votes and everyone hated him initially (myself included). lol Now he is one of my favorite characters. All that fuckin muscle, my gawd.
