That doesn't sound too great in my opinion. Lets us hope your friends is just joking with you or it is potentially terrible, I won't know I haven't seen the series myself.

the first two episodes are pretty different from the rest of the series (so far) and each arc is around two episodes long.

the opening, ending, and every insert song are all covers of The Blue Hearts songs and every episode title is also a Blue Hearts song title.

I'm not saying it's bad, but
I don't know how I feel about it...
 
So I saw a pair of episodes of "Gugure! Kokkuri-san" and I've never been more uncomfortable in my whole life
 
didnt really like rolling girls so i dropped it after ep 2

also no shading on characters
 
char's helmet didn't have the horns so I was really confused

btw, if you haven't watched Gundam Build Fighters
what's the matter with you? don't you like Gundam?

it's got italian Dandys, Gundam Idols, a whole episode with people cosplaying nearly EVERY MAIN CHARACTER IN GUNDAM, it's the best commercial ever, and it's the only series that can make me enjoy a gundam from SEED.

and it's got the OG Mr. Ral.
still rockin' the Gouf.

Hair looks slightly different so I don't think it's her, but she did appear along with Fran Doll from Turn A in another episode (differently colored):
