I meant from the fact that he looks almost exactly like him aside from the other show and that he has very little animation compared to the rest of the characters.

Yeah man, I can't believe season 3 would end on a cliffhanger. Thankfully, season 4 airs today.
Its so great that Luluco is so successful enough to get more than one season.

Btw, I finally started watching Gate.
I love how they dont hold back the steamrolling of modern tech vs fantasy.

because in gate, the main dude (they never address him by his name enough) they show is a huge nerd and so far he's been a not bad character.

and Guts is the most relateable character. I mean, I think we can all agree on his motivation

that's like judging every girl in Gate based on Rory. it's not fair at all.

yeah, but Little Witch Academia's charm is that it uses VERY LITTLE stock photo animations.

like, this is Trigger showing that they could have done more at Gainax than what people thought.
 
Honestly, I haven't really been impressed by Trigger's output in general.
Inferno Cop is good fun but I haven't really been endeared to anything else they've done afterwards.
LWA's main character killed my interest in it, KlK was awful and nothing after that really kept my attention.

It's a shame because I know Imaishi and the other staff at Trigger can do better, Gurren Lagann is testament to that, but they aren't really using their potential to its fullest, imo.
