@UP It was mentioned that the voting can have some influence on when who will appear, but the major factor deciding will be Alex's vision and his story. So I guess the next characters will be the ones important for the next story arc, but the voting will probably decide who will be done first and who last in that bunch.

I think it would be really weird to have her randomly speaking Japanese for no reason.

If they want to add a reference she should say it in her own voice in English just like the rest of the cast does it with their references. You don't hear Leviathan doing Raul Julia impressions, he just says the line in his own style.

I'd wager they'll for sure lean towards the important characters first but I bet like minette, annie and the other like top 4-5 runner ups have a high chance at showing up in skullgirls 2 I'd like to wager, but that's also mostly me being hopeful ^^;

Palettes are next after all the NPCs are done.

Voicepacks are probably going to be much later - possibly not until the end, because there's a lot of work to do there.

I think we're going to populate them in both stages, eventually. But right now we're not offering a choice.

I hope the funds held up on Lab Zero get/got resolved as well. You deserve them!

...Boy, I have a much lower opinion of Paypal as time goes on. I never had bad luck with them for small amounts, but they seem terrible for anything substantial.

Did you end up getting your Paypal funds unfrozen too though? I really hope you can go through the same route Yatagarasu did, if you didn't already.

This is a good opportunity to ask the dev team actually useful questions, so try not to squander it with pointless drivel that they have to sift through.
You don't have to be rigidly serious in here, but I trimmed out a lot of the irrelevant discussions - there's a million other places to have those on the forum.

Ravi, multi-fight lobbies are awesome as is online training. Any chance we will ever get a spectating option? Especially when playing with a mix of friends and randoms it can be fun to watch.

Where were you the last month? :p They are making final fixes on the spectator mode. It should be available in beta soon.

Ever heard of the "King of the Hill" modes? :p They are quite popular. It's when one player in the room is the King (in this case Queen) and others player keep challenging him until one of them beats him and then the winner becomes the new King, and everything repeats.

Mmh, I'd assume its the typical lobby style with winner stays (instead of All-Play)
 
@Ravidrath So what's up with the stream archives from the Lab Zero stream getting deleted? None of the videos from the past 2 weeks have been archived. Is this intentional?

Yeah, this is pretty weird. I use those archives for reference since I can rarely ever watch them live. The last one went from 2AM to 7AM for pete's sake.

Nah, I was the one that took them down. I just figured that if SH can't have backups, why should the salty stream?

I am having some difficulty unlocking the full version of Skullgirls on my Steam, it just reinstalled Endless Beta when I plugged Humble Bundle code again.

I just don't know what went wrong. :/
 
endless beta and skullgirls "retail" are different downloads on steam. check in your library if you don't have both on the list

This died long ago. No cross-platform because Sony doesn't accept Steam as middle-ware. And there was never supposed to be a cross-multiplayer with X360.

If I recall correctly, DLC characters are going to be 5$ (suggesting from the IndieGoGo campaing) after the free period?

I kinda find it weird that 3 characters will equal a full game with 8 characters. :P But I suppose we also got some nice bonuses with Squigly like new stages, lobbies and spectator mode.

Remember that DLC chars. is gonna be free for 3 months!

How close are we to having the three new music tracks added to the Humble Bundle OST? If this has been asked recently, please excuse me. I've just been waiting on pins and needles to finally have those.

Last time it was asked and answered, he said that they were waiting for the Humble Bundle guys to get back from PAX.

PAX was weeks ago...
 
I don't know if someone asked this before but I saw a few artists on tumblr making art for the gallery in the Skullgirls menu (I think that's what they're for you can correct me if this isn't true). Is it only open to industry artists to create art for it?
