yeah, Ego the Raptor kinda made me gag. Benny the hype dog would have been cool if he wasn't tied to Max. and uh... all the other cast of what did they say... 18 characters kinda look... boring and flat in the personality department.

Well to be honest Ego the Raptor was the opposite of a selling point for me-
I've always found that guy an uncharismatic self-centered prick. More unlikeable for even this broken game's standards.

I agree.
His personality leaves a lot to be desired.

However, he's a great voice actor.

Is Egoraptor raptor in the game?

It's the fact he's not in. Youtube celebrities are ripetitive and annoying, just like a meme. Him being in this project makes it much more cheap and desperate.
Tip for making any sort of media ever: avoid memes like the plague.

Borderlands 1 was amazing. If someone could mod Krieg into Borderlands 1 I would never play anything else.

Personal Note the button config is okay, they even allow you to test the buttons at the character select screen by selecting a character and pressing the select button, the only slight problem is that they didn't program in the little feature that if one action is all ready config-ed to one button that it does not take that used button out of the list of possible button to be config-ed to an action. SO, basically I can map all of the actions to one button. >:I way to go guys. to fix this i mashed on the keyboard until the game decided to allow me to re-config, cause these guys do not have anything telling me which button on the keyboard can be used to re-config your controller.


( The place where Mike Z spoke in this video, aka UFGTX, he also had the chance to speak to the Devs behind BF, and Mike has stated that these guys know NOTHING about fighting games and the design behind them. Random people that He spoke to knew more than these guys did. )

Edit: Moves and their respected commands posted by the BF crew are not the same commands needed to do in the game. Example: Vinc's Kunckle Fuck Chi Move, has been stated as a Half Circle Frd Punch.

But in the Game you can just tap Bck then Frd + Punch. Like the what the heck? Don is even worse cause his Makok masher has to be done with a 720 punch where as they state that it can be done with again a half circle.

Thresher Thash is stated to be a qcd + punch but I can get it to come out with a frd, dwn, frd dwn + punch, or if i'm lucky a shoryu movement. Man this game can not handle inputs, also there is no input delay so everything is super specific to pull off, thank god i played the crap out of SF2 to get used to hard links. other wise i would have tossed this game out the window. I'm still angered that some normals suffer from the SF4 effect where they look like they can cancel into a special but they can't. Like Vinc's s.mk.

Some things can be waved off with "it's pre-alpha, of course some things will be glitchy" but damn, I'd expect at least some things to NOT be glitchy.

As is, I'm not really sure what they were doing with all this time (and money) at all.

I kinda want to show Mike this so he can open a can of whoop ass on these fools. cause there is NO excuse for the button config junk. like NONE, it is just sloppy, lazy, and down right disgusting. If you are a programmer you have to take the time to TEST EVERYTHING. I know this because my brother is a programmer, i have watched him go over lines of code for hours on end so that he can have a error free program. that he would go over everything and test it to make sure he has everything he wanted in the code and that it does everything correctly.

I hate it when a game has complicated rules about which buttons can or can't be canceled into special. I've always really like the simplicity of normal->special->super; the more exceptions there are to the rule, the more it bugs me.
 
Oh and another THING, these guys have lied about how Vinc's Super ignores the Crumple Rule that is placed in the game, ( you can only have one crumple per combo. ) But instead when Vinc does this it knocks the opponent down and does not recrumple them.


Look at the combo at 0:37 in the video for context.

what the video's notes say:
*Crumple attacks are only one per combo
*Vincent's Super however can break this rule, and crumple as many times as it wants.
*Air hits are normally 1 Juggle Point, Leviathan Kick uses up 4 points however. Vincent has a maximum of 5 juggle points.
*Vincent's Super ends all air combos instantly.

This however happens...

The input display in training mode shows actual Xbox 360 controller buttons instead of the game buttons (LP MP MK etc)? That's uh...well I hate to be a dick but its clear they don't really know what they're doing. WHY would you make it like that?

Thats not even before getting to if you press the buttons fast enough, they mash together.

So with the ability to customize what buttons are throw, you are allowed to set two buttons (lp+lk in my case). Interestingly enough when trying to set throw to fwd+HP, it only registers fwd and that was some dumb wonky shit I didn't even want to test. The problem with two button throws in this game is that there is no input leniency. I had to input both lp+lk at the EXACT frame or I'd just end up with a s.lk.
