His regular grabs have a bigger hit-box than I expected.
 
Open the floodgates. And by "floodgates" I mean "combo thread".
 
Can anyone confirm if you can't do dance off of j.hp or if it's just my lousy inputs

speaking of solo mains, is the red health thing still going on for the beta?

just wondering since Beo seems like he'd be a great solo character.
 

Here's the best beo combo I could come up with. It works on lightweights and middleweights with some adjustments.

cr.lk,cr.mp,s.hp, L chair toss
cr.mp, cr.hp
j.mk,(j.lp,lk on mid weights) j.hk
dash j.mp, s.hk
walk back, s.mk, s.hk chair grab
dash j.lp (omit this on mid weight)
s.lp, cr.mp, cr.hp, M chair toss, j.hp dow+lp finsher

I noticed that it's pretty difficult to pick up your chair if it's in the corner behind Big Band. BB's just too damn big.
 
No regular snap so use the grab one.
 

Is this supposed to be allowed? I thought from all the Salties that you weren't supposed to be able to combo with the mic drop.
 
It's because it combos from s.mp. Delaying it and making it the first hit is when it doesn't combo.

try using c lp to catch them in the air, I cant do usual st lp but I can do that
 
Some very simple stuff I've come up with. Doesn't compare at all to what's already in this thread.

 

Messing around and got a meterless 5.6k.
I gotta optimize my stuff lol.

If you start a combo (w/ chair) into cr.HP launcher (ex: cr.LP, cr.MP, cr.HP), you can change your next air string to decide whether you want to stay on the same side or not (great for getting out of the corner and putting your opponent in the corner):
  1. 2 hit air chain lands on the other side (ex: j.LP, j.HK) except Big Band
  2. 3 hit air chain stays on the same side (ex: j.LP, j.MK, j.HK)

Since Beowulf's qcf PP super travels so far, if you DHC into it from around ~3/4 of the stage (away from the corner); it'll carry you far enough to OTG into a corner combo as Beowulf. Beowulf is gonna help my Cerebella a ton since my current team lacks good DHC options midscreen.

Also how are you guys making his st.HK wall bounce in your combos? I replicated some of the combos in here, and I can never get it to wall bounce?
 
I was just thinking, Since you have that open arm during the super, should you be able to grab the chair if you pass it? Also, what if your opponent dosnt let the camera get your chair?

It looks like the last few shots of Argus hits after Beo's super hits. Doesn't seem like a bug rather than an unfortunate DHC.
 
From grab:

QCF+Tag on ground: Garbage Day Snap
Down+P in air: Frog Splash
Down+K on ground with chair: Cossack Dance
Forward or Back+P on ground: Fisherman's throw

That's what I was thinking, but it's still probably something that can be fixed so that it isn't a death sentence.

You get used to the timing with enough practice. Kinda like naplam shot links

I triggered happy birthday hype lines as Beowulf on an assist as if I had done snapback.
I did chairless hp for grab after point character was dead.
The dead point character stood still on screen after the grab was released allowing me to stand still on the life lead until time out.
The dead point character fell after I hit with another attack.

When I killed the final character I again ended with chairless HP for the grab.
He stayed in my arm for a bit - when he fell out he crumpled in his time out animation.
 
Dear @Mike_Z , wasn't this supposed to stagger?
If you do it raw, yes. If you chain into it, no.
