Not to much speculation as it is laughing at how good having a rabbit as Annie's sidekick is.
See, in Eastern (And Aztec mythology.), depending on who you ask, there's something called the moon rabbit, spefically, in Chinese mythology, guess what the Moon Rabbit does? Make Elixirs of immortality. (Double points that it's called the Jade Rabbit in China.)
GG, Alex.
nice artGirl of the Starbucks
Edit:I guess it's a good thing Annie has a TV show or how else would she find work
Thank you kind person and @WaterMystic277, I know Alex had these characters in development for awhile, I'm just saying he might come up with concepts for newer characters and consult his partner on how to develop them
A lot of Peacock's old concept art painted her as a much more malicious figure than her final iteration, alongside aging her up into her late teens. Supplemental story info from this time paints her as mentally scarred from her experiences as a slave. Her hatred of her slavetrader captors seems psychotic in nature, as she is mentioned to even toy with her victims before killing them. Her concepts show her as a powerful entity capable of flight, controlling hundreds of Argus eyes at once, and amassing armies of 8bombs to do her bidding; a far cry from the comical and impromptu fightstyle of modern Peacock.
Mike first showcased Skullgirls publicly in late 2010, during which he explained Reverge Lab's plans for the game. He said that the final game would likely have 8-10 characters, and two bosses.
We only ended up getting Marie in the final game, but I have a feeling that Peacock might have been the other boss at some point in development. The concept art above paints her and Marie as two opposite sides of the same card, after all.
i don't know if this has even been confirmed, but peacock is based on the Mad Pierrot episode of Cowboy Bebop, right?
just watched the alex q&a streamhttp://www.twitch.tv/triadlabs
Alex Ahad will be doing a SkullGirls Lore Q&A soon. Idk what time it starts, but you should join.
Alpha confirmed it, yeah.
i don't think we really know anything about geiger's motivations or alignment.
Plus Dahlia mentions him by name at the end of Peacock's story, so Geiger is probably still alive and kicking. Plus my headcanon is Geiger is in charge of Lab Zero and is probably the one who helped create Brain Drain's robotic body.
That would certainly make sense.Okay guys, this is ltierally an ass dive theroy but what if Claire, the bi-coloured lady here had some significance?
I mean really, her only picture is with Venus, while it could be another sketch of her in general I just think this has some suggestions they're related to each other.
Not to mention Claire has a SUPER weird design, it's the most un-standard lady one I've seen thus far. One thing I guess is like, maybe a Double thing? Or just a free-acting agent of Venus. (Seems like that to me?)
Can someone also rip claire form the city stage? I want to get a closer look at her.
That would certainly make sense.
Aeon: Double
Mother: Skullheart
Venus: ???
They all have some sort of agent floating around aside from Venus. It would also make sense for her agent to not be helping with the skullheart operation since Venus doesn't really seem to care much, and it would also make sense considering that semi-exhibitionist outfit certainly looks like something Venus would dress her agent as.
Wait where is it said that Double is an agent of Aeon?
Wait where is it said that Double is an agent of Aeon?
It would seem to me that Double is an agent of Venus since they're both similar, namely being eldritch horrors.
I mean this is just speculation but I always thought that Double was a literal piece of Abbadon who was given it's own intelligence and then ejected into the world to do the Trinity's bidding.
As for Claire there's a possibility that she could be important, but there's also a possibility that Alex Ahad just randomly sketched them together (I'm assuming that's Alex's work). By the way Water, where did you find that?
Chrono, have I told you that I love you lately? In the character description for Venus, it is said that she "calls upon her unwilling foothold on the outside". Unwilling seems to be the keyword here. Double seems to be more than enthusiastic to advance the agenda of her masters. Additionally, one of Double's losing animation is "Aeon, why have you forsaken me?". She never refers to Venus.
While Double and Venus's powers seem to be similar, suggesting some sort of link, there is not much strong evidence otherwise that Double is the "foothold" that Venus's profile is referring to.
