While Volnutt I'll agree with, BN had like 11 games (6 main, a bunch spin off).
If anything, Star Force is the neglected one, which sucks cause I really enjoyed it.

Also, this pic of the day may coincide with the fact that Battle Network 1 is rereleasing in Japan on the Wii U Virtual Console right away. Hopefully us next, cause I started BN at 4 and want to pay for the originals so that Capcom understands we need more.

I still wanna play it just for the sake of completion since I've played every other BN game that was released stateside.

Fair enough, and for $5 it's not like it's an investment or anything.

Though TurboMan.EXE looks pretty sweet and is exclusive to this game

You know, I'm just really happy that all the Mega Men will get some recognition in a popular game. Who knows, since Brawl's trophies introduced me to a bunch of older games, maybe this will do the same and possibly promote them enough that Capcom WILL do something.

Today's update was fucking beautiful.
Two updates in a row about alternate costumes, which must've given people their hopes up that you could be other Megamen as alt costumes.
Then you scroll down and...

I'm on the boat that never wanted all the other Mega Men to be playable cause them all short and stubby would look terrible.

I'd say I'm rooting for a Proto Man alt, but he doesn't have enough equivalents to pull of the Backstreet's Back

don't care for Zero
granted I haven't played his spinoff (nor do I want to) and have only played the first two Mega Man X games (and didn't really care for them either oops)

I'm pretty sure he also has less health but causes more damage in general.
Proto Man-type characters are high risk, high reward.

Bass-type are just different, from 8-way shooting to having an entire arsenal of boomy things (when playable, not as often)

If Zero doesn't count as protoman, I don't know why any of the megamans count as megaman.

Nope. Zero is not a reploid. He's a robot like classic Mega Man, Proto Man and Bass, albeit one advanced enough to almost seem like a reploid.

X was the first reploid which Dr. Cain based all future reploids off of. Zero was made long before X and sealed away.

Though Dr. Light might have known about Zero because of the Light Capsules having knowledge to build upgrades for him... though they could be AI replications of Dr. Light also...

It's complicated. But Zero is not a reploid.
 
X ain't a reploid either. Everybot based off him is a reploid; as they were made in an attempt to replicate X's crazy advanced systems, the inventors probably saw it fitting to dub them replica androids.
 
honestly, I just realized that an X alt would be horribly incomplete without Mark Gatha and his phenomenal voice
but alas
he's a doctor now
saving lives and probably not yelling nearly as much

I don't find JYB as him in MVC3 too bad (except that last one, but he would never use Japanese attacks to begin with)


But yeah, Mark Gatha had a perfect voice for him.

Mahvel 3 doesn't count because for some stupid reason, X is a costume for Zero instead of his own character (and they kept JYB's Zero lines for use with the X costume).

Yeah, I know, but what I'm saying is that JYB does a decent (read: non-cringy) reading of both of them. I'd be alright if they used that voice.

But it'll be no Mark Gatha :'(
 
I'm also sad that Master Asia wasn't able to stay the voice of Sigma too
but that's neither here nor there
 
Actually, that reminds me. I was listening to the Gamexplain Kirbopher interview for Smash, and apparently at Nintendo World they were told that bosses might appear in Smash Run as events, one of which was Kraid.

We could get Wily and Eggman fights yet! MY HOPES CAN BE REALIZED STILL!

no, he probably yells lots of times and that's when the awesome burning operations happen.

Kraid as a boss **in Smash Run**
They could still be adaptations of the stage bosses but from what we've seen of Devil, he doesn't seem like he was made to be used in smash run. I suppose he could be adapted for it, but he would lose a lot of that classic devil styling if he were placed in a super big arena.
This means nothing for now, but if kraid were a boss specifically made for smash run... that would do a lot more to harm ridley's chances than help them.
 
What would it do to Ridley at all?

I don't think it would mean anything to do with Ridley, this is Smash Brothers.
