I'm sure when I invite 12 of my friends over for a Smash Bros party, no one is going to be like "Uh that stage gives advantage to [x] character"

and if they do they are gonna be KICKED OUT

Heck, I've even seen competitive players say those are their favorite "casual" stages

... stage hazards such as the Arwings as well as issues with camping, its very low ceiling (in Brawl), and wall infinites such as Fox's shine infinite in Melee and King Dedede's infinite chain throw in Brawl, both done against the backside of the Great Fox's dorsal wing which functions as a wall.

As D1 put it, "There's $15000 on the line and this guy's gonna show up?"
Replace "and this guy's gonna show up" with "and this player can just chain grab me to death" or any other reason a stage gets banned.

With there being a lot of inspiration from Lost World already in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if the nSpec variants are the kick and multihoming attack from that same game.

They actually aren't getting rid if these types of moves. Rather, they're simply making it so that these moves have a finisher instead of going on for as long as you tap the attack button. If I recall, other characters with these types of moves (such as Kirby) simply continue to jab for a little bit before finishing the move with a harder blow that knocks the opponent back while putting the attacker in recovery frames.

I dunno if Villager could even has the moves to properly exploit these things. And also the jab finishers are likely an attempt to prevent jabs from being infinites against walls.
