The Smash Bros Discussion Thread

I don't think the bosses would really "show up" in Smash Run. I think it would go to a room like the one where you have to break those crystals in a limited time. Only no time limits, probably some custom stage involved, etc.
 
Well, Dynablade would show up randomly in Kirby Air Ride and everyone would work together to kill it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she appeared in this game as well and did the same.
 
Especially with how hard they've been pushing Smash Run (as one of the only reasons to get the 3DS version, the only real other reason is because there's a 2 month wait between it and the WiiU version).
If bosses exist in Smash Run and they HAVEN'T been shown yet, we'll definitely be seeing something of them soon.

Actually, that reminds me. I was listening to the Gamexplain Kirbopher interview for Smash, and apparently at Nintendo World they were told that bosses might appear in Smash Run as events, one of which was Kraid.

We could get Wily and Eggman fights yet! MY HOPES CAN BE REALIZED STILL!

They've confirmed there's a lot of content that's in the games that wasn't in the Best Buy builds. For instance, I think I only saw like 5 different events, and they were all basically "A whole bunch of [X] have appeared!"

Temple, Onett, and Corneria are my favorite Melee stages. I was a lucky bastard when ALLL of them were in Brawl. I doubt I'll have the same luck again.

Those three are the fan favorites. They could easily come back again because, well, everyone loves them.
 
Everyone loves Temple. It was a big stage, but it wasn't SO BIG IT WAS STUPID (see New Pork City)

Temple doesn't need to come back because we have Palutena's Temple now. Which is New Pork City 2: Electric Boogaloo, starring Hades.

The difference is that Palutena's temple has STUFF in it. The whole upper to mid left section of New Pork City is literally nothing.

I only really liked Temple because it had the fire emblem music...

Mostly I'm just waiting for the glorious return/sequel of PokeFloats
 
Well yes but that's just Pollyanna, The Eight Melodies, and a small tidbit of the battle theme.

EB needs music that's actually FROM EB.

EBA is awesome, but everyone knows OTO more because of us OSU.
Unless they use the EBA skin.

I'd dig an EBA assist trophy, but a stage is not very likely due to the fact that it's all licensed music.
 
I really need to play EB. It's on my vidya bucket list.

Not right this second though, I'm a little RPGed out. Started playing Child of Light the other day but just stopped 2 hours in.

I digress though. I hope that theory about Melee stages only returning for 3DS and Brawl stages returning for Wii U is true. I think that's coolio.
 
Also, when are we getting some info on the Tomodachi Life stage? Now that the game is out and everything, some info would be cool cause we'd sort of understand it

If it's worth anything, it, along with a bunch of other ones of dubious legality (Beware the Forest Mushrooms, the MGS theme that's heavily copyrighted, and Toot Toot Sonic Warrior) were found on the Brawl disc unused. So it was planned at least.
 
This has nothing to do with anything.
But I'll take any excuse to put on Lollipop Chainsaw's boss themes.
 
Seconding Porky Means Business and the Hippie theme, but Smash Bros. needs more House-genre music, so RELEASE! THE KRAKEN!

 
I would be happy to play the game with whatever music :)
