I liked the Spring release rumor because one of the possible listed dates was my birthday.

I remember the exact Brawl roster was leaked way before the actual release but everyone discredited it because ROB was in it and was absent of certain characters people thought would be in.

Because the current Pac-Man is... less than savory.

Megaman was born and raised on nintendo
Sonic was their biggest rival, so he has his place too in a weird way

the only reason that people think he's gonna be in is because Namco is helping to work on the game, but Sakurai already said that they aren't getting any special treatment. It's purely business.

Mario also crossed over with Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy (playing Basketball and stocks for some stupid reason. Why can't we get NORMAL CROSSOVERS?) but I still wouldn't say they're a part of Nintendo's history.

Ehhh. I don't think Snake is coming back.
Unless they announce The Twin Snakes is coming to WiiU Virtual Console.
Cause he hasn't done anything original on Nintendo since, well, that. And that's a remake itself. It would be Ghost Babel on the GBC.

That, and apparently Kojima and Sakurai are real chummy, so that could be a reason. IIRC, Snake was set to be in melee, but the cast had already been completed, so no room.
 
Where is the Golden Sun love in here. I don't care if it's just a stage and some tunes. Gimme my Golden Sun hype
Also Nintendo when you reveal Isaac coincide it with announcing Dark Dawn's sequel kthxbai

Well, since the "pure" SMT is almost a nintendo exclusive now, we COULD get a jack frost/pyro jack trophy

or as a character! it would beat the crap out of ice climbers

Anyway, back to the Spring 2014 thing.
Apparently someone from Nintendo's higher ups said that Mario Kart 8, and SSB 4 were due out in Spring Fiscal 2014, which is usually April, and ends in June.
I STILL think it'll be released in September (23rd).
That's Nintendo's 125th Anniversary.

But they're owned by SEGA now, so I don't think it's entirely possible. Or at least, a bit harder.


...then again, Brawl had Hamtaro, Tetris and Sim City in it.

...somehow. No idea how TV Tokyo, Tetris Company and EA gave them the OK for that.
 
Why would you want the Jacks as a character when you could have an actual demon tamer like Flynn or something.

Gives a possibility for Smash's first true puppet character.

But none of them are probably going to happen anyway unless that Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem thing ends up creating interest in the Smash team, which is unlikely to happen considering how strict Sakurai is with third parties.
 
Oh man, I would definitely love to see some SMT love in Smash! The more Atlus, the better :P

Yeah, that's totally the island. Graphics ripped right from it too (I have no problem with that)

It's weird though. We've got good looks at all the WiiU stages, but the 3DS ones not so much.
We have nothing on the DKCR3D Stage, one screen on Streetpass Quest (Find Mii) and I'm betting you we'll only have this one for a while.
 
needs to be a new golden beetle farming battle mode

most golden beetles gets unlimited final smashes
