I'm curious about the "this stage has some rules that are rare in Smash Bros"

Like, are we getting a split-screen free-roamer? Is this from Adventure Mode? Cause like, Kirbs and Pikachu are riding together despite not being on the same team (no colored outline)...

I feel like
if they were to make a free-roaming stage they woulda done it on the 3DS.
Considering everyone already has their own console and screen so it wouldn't even need to be split-screen.
 
Were there people that actually genuinely thought the tower of smash leak was real?

All y'all be haters. I freakin' love Fox's voice in this game, it's great. I can't remember Falco's all that well off the top of my head, but I remember feeling indifferent about it with my first impressions. Brooklyn Falco was great and hilarious, but the current Falco is fine too.

But that's only two screens.
As opposed to the 3DS' four screens.
So a four player free-roaming game works better on 3DS (like Smash Run).
 
I thought the Tower of Smash leak was too good to be true.

Though now maybe we can get Ganon's Tower with the water cascading in the Wii U version
 
I actually liked Falco's Brawl voice. The new one doesn't bother me, either.

Metroid representation that doesn't hinge on things introduced in Other M.
Which is pretty much alive Adam Malcovitch, human Mother Brain, the bottle ship, Samus' heels, and the Ridley clone.
I'm fine with the beauty mark though.

Beauty mark has apparently been there since day 1, just graphics never were good enough to show it.

And the more I play Other M, the more I do like everything but the story. It ain't a bad game IMO, just a misguided one.
 
it sure is a good thing that samus canonically completely lost that beauty mark in her horrible disfigurement during the events of Fusion

Yeah, that's what I thought too. A lot of people took "No wings" too seriously. Like, I'd say Falco in this game doesn't have wings cause they're not WINGS - just hands that look like 'em.

The leaker specifically said like in Other M, didn't he.
When he said that I automatically assumed he was referring to the younger Ridley clone that didn't have wings.
Not that it matters though, as it's been disproven and Ridley should just be constantly abusing aerials anyways, no ground specific mode.

the other one is subpar lord no matter how you cut it
 
You know,
actually playing characters that aren't Little Mac,
I realized that all of my favorite attacks from Brawl are gone.
Like, going through my Brawl mains, Olimar's up aerial isn't that 6 hit pikmin toss, he has a non-damaging up special where I found Pikmin Chain to be a pretty useful anti-air in the right situations, and his throws don't have as much knockback anymore.
Zero Suit Samus doesn't have her side smash or up special (which I preferred to each's counterpart honestly).
Peach has a delay on her down special, Wario got a completely different side smash, Ivysaur isn't even in the game.
y dis Sakurai, now I'll be forced to only play Little Mac.

Robin is so fun holy shit. I unlocked my boy Ness but Robin is just too good. Arc Fire setups too strong.

Really? I saw a tier list in which Ganondorf was the second worst character, but I haven't unlocked him so I don't know first-hand.

I'm not expecting him to be Melee levels of good and I'm especially not expecting be Project: M levels of good, but please tell me his normals are faster! He's one of my best characters in Melee and Project: M, so this is important to me!
 
his custom B moves are where he really shines
the sword stab is REALLY good when you sweetspot it and the Ganon Rider Kick is a legit divekick
he's still brawl old manondorf though
