The Steven Universe Thread! [SPOILERS]

Man, Jasper was just brutal in that episode with the spin dashes. I was surprised and happy that Stevonnie stepped into the fight. I also worry about Amethyst.

Those last few episodes were painful to watch, as someone who relates a LOT to Amethyst.

Just.. geez. Some of that hit really close to home.

We already knew she wouldn't be gemmified in season 3. The season ends this week. But more interestingly, Finding out what Jasper knows will give us our first look of the other side of the Gem conflict from the opposite side of the war. Someone who actually fought against Rose, multiple times.

At the beginning of the season, I hated the idea of a Jasper redemption. Now, its what I'm looking forward to with great anticipation.
 
Is Jasper still corrupted? I really want to hear about what happened between Rose and Pink Diamond.
 
Well, there are so many surprises in the episode, but I am curious about

what Rose did to Pink Diamond... If she did anything to her.
 
My guess given how Centipede's drawing...

How there were only THREE Diamonds... It most likely means that... Rose Shattered Pink Diamond. The Total Betrayal Rose committed... just so Gems might be free.

Rose is starting to look to be a much darker character than what her surface might be showing.

My headcanon that there was a Pink Diamond was there for a literal year, I'm glad it exists, though with this revelation about how wrong gems are destroyed means I'ma have to rework my Gemsona story, but I am very glad to know that Pink Diamond fucking exists
 
I mean there's always

Rose Quartz IS Pink Diamond, that old theory is still around. It lines up with a lot of other theories:
  • Where the gem is located on the body is related to the Diamond symbol. I.E: Yellow and Blue Diamond have their diamond on their chest, and they are in the middle of symbol. White Diamond, on top, in theory would have it on her head, and Rose Diamond on her stomache.
    • There's a pearl theory out there where a pearl's gem is correlated to where their Diamond's gem is. Yellow Diamond's and Blue Diamond's pearls, both seen already, have their gem on their chest. Interestingly, our Pearl's gem is on her head... I wonder who she belonged to before being set free... ;D (there's also the more obvious the pearls are tinted to their Diamond's color)
  • Rose Diamonds are actually a thing, since everything is based off of real gems.
  • It aligns with Rose's philosophy of a gem being able to be whatever she wants, went from Pink>Rose
    • Can be viewed as corruption since it seems to be corruption isn't very well understood, hence why they let Steven see if it's heal-able in the first place etc.

i don't know if you mean rose quartz instead of rose diamond, but as of episode "back to the moon," it's been confirmed that rose quartz shattered pink diamond. they're different gems.
 
Well, there goes the Rose is Pink Diamond theory. I just don't know if what Ruby said was true though Pearl and Garnet's reactions...
 
It adds up, to be honest. She seemed to be a lot more secretive than we initially thought. In an earlier episode, when Greg said, "I barely know you," she said, "That's a good thing."
She sliced through Bismuth's physical form due to the Breaking Point and what it was made for. This leads me to think that the weapon only reminded her of her betrayal and what she had done to Pink Diamond. Maybe she's so anti-shatter because of what she did.
This especially doesn't help Rose's case.
There's just a lot of stuff that supports what that Ruby said.
 
I get the impression that pink diamond is actually Lion. The picture on the moon base has pink diamond with hair looking similar to Lion's and she appears to be jumping from / into a portal.

Fixed. Also it hasn't been confirmed. There was no scene or footage confirming it. It's been confirmed that it's what Eyeball thinks =P I'm fine either way, but just sayin...

That does feel like too big of a loose end. Also Rubies are pretty susceptible to being deceived.

I figure once they figure out how to go about "fixing corruption", we'll being entering the show's endgame.

As of "Bubbled," Pearl and Garnet both confirmed that Rose "did what she had to do" when Steven expressed his disbelief.
 
I can't help but imagine Pink Diamond being softer and kinder than the other Diamonds. Jasper's relationship with her as conveyed by the way she exclaimed her name before being fully corrupted and how Eyeball sympathetically understood that Jasper was especially close to Pink Diamond. I could be entirely wrong. TwT

I think that accurately sums up my thoughts after her whole return ark thing.
