Kill la Kill *WARNING SPOILERS EDITION*

For some reason, I have the feeling that Nui is a bit more eldritch than anything seen before. I mean, hooks on her nail? Leaning on her subtitles? Looking and acting (almost) like a regular magical girl in a series that's more SnK than Sailor Moon? Those signs appear to be indications that she's a bit... other. I'm half-expecting her to go all Cthulhu just before she ends up cut down.
 
Can we go talk about how Ragyo was trying to cop a feel on her daughter?

Isn't the whole point of that scene to 1) Show Ragyo has no shame and 2) Assert her dominance over Satsuki?

Yeah I know that, just having fun lol. It goes with my theory that she'll probably back stab her later.

If I were the defending type I'd say Ragu was feeling up her daughter's clothes instead of her daughter. I'd feel more sorry for junketsu. On the other hand she's probably just groping her daughter. I'm waiting for the show to switch to Satsuki-vision for the possibility to hear junketsu say some stuff.

On the the topic of Nui it looks like the ridiculous 4th wall breaking stuff is going to stay around for a while.

If you hate her that means you have more potential to love her.
 
So I just started watching this series, and im finding it to be the bobobo equivalent but with clothe does it stay this way?

So I just watched this past Thursday's episode....and WTF?
Nui is fucking scary! Someone needs to put this song over the scene where she reveals herself in the most recent episode, it'd be perfect.

My guess for what will happen next: the individual pieces of Senketsu will reject non-Ryuko users, and if people try to wear too much of Senketsu at once they may be consumed.

Edit: We could use a new OP right about now Trigger, kthxbai.

I wouldn't go so far, considering that in the 4th episode, Maiko (the mole) was able to wear Senketsu with no problem.
EDIT: Then again, Senketsu might have lost its memories (again?).

She could wear Senketsu, but she couldn't use it like Ryuko could.

That was primarily because she had no shame but we don't know if she could use it.

There is foreshadowing suggesting otherwise. Merely wearing senketsu seems to be a non-issue, but right before the final scene they make it a point to say that he was made for her, so his powers probably only work for her...and considering senketsu has a will, we don't know how clothes with his fibers in them will react to others.
 
I'm just waiting for her to re-merge with all the outfits that have Senketsu pieces in them and for a giant set of super clothing or something.

The official site has a list of streaming sites to choose from. I would recommend Daisuki.net because they are usually pretty quick in uploading english subtitles with high quality video. You can also use Hulu since they host the episodes found on Aniplex's website, they're also pretty fast with updates.

Also, I should note that GLOWERING is great word to describe Satsuki. For both her intense stares and inherent incandescence.
 
Today's Kill la Kill was pretty funny even though it was plot relevant.

I love how ridiculously stereotyped they made the different Japanese cities, it's even funny when you don't know the stereotypes before-hand. Apparently Kobe people are sports freaks, Kyoto people are spiritual crazies obsessed with ancient things, and Osaka people are greedy money-whores. Happy to see that they all put up a fight too instead of Honnouji just steamrolling through them. Kind of dissapointed the whole collecting Senketsu thing was pretty much handled in one episode, but it does leave a pretty good set-up for the next episode. Also annoyed to see the return of the Mako rants. They're not funny anymore. Though everything she does after the rants is.

Thank goodness the Retrieve-Senketsu mission didn't drag on. It's as if Trigger knows what people are expecting and goes against it.

Satsuki's gonna kick Ryuko's ass but then some crazy bullshit happens that convinces her to give up the gauntlet.

You just know that's what's gonna happen.
