Pokemon

He's actually not that great off... No weaknesses but he has nothing else going for him. Terrible bulk, lackluster offenses and pitiful speed. 2/10 would not EV train

It was in 5th gen. Now...it's kind of wimpy looking in 3D. Power wise it's still a beast though, and it has no weaknesses.
Eelectross? He has no outstanding stats, in fact all of them besides his attacking stats are pretty bad, with his speed being abysmal.
The only things he has going for him are good coverage moves (since he's a mixed attacker and learns a lot of good moves like flamethrower, giga drain, superpower) and a good ability in levitate, which, as you said, gives him no weaknesses (albeit his bulk is still terrible so you can OHKO him with anything he's neutral to regardless.) Obviously none of this matters in single player, but he's not really a powerhouse.
And he always kind of looked silly.

It's swinging Pyroar by its mane.
actually I think its doing both because I think its got pyroar's mane and houndoom's tail both in its hands.

I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Until I finally understand
THERE'S NO MODEST POKEMON
POKEMON!
So. It turns out. After you beat the Elite 4, you can find the champion in Lumiose City. She'll trade you a Modest Ralts with the Sychronize ability. It's also holding Gardevoirite. She'll take any pokemon. She's apparently in a cafe in the southern boulevard.

That's pretty incredible.
More or less a free Ralts with a Megaevo?
Awesome.

Also playing through my White version, I forgot how amazing my Stoutland was.
Dudes the best.

On the one hand, that makes me a bit grumpy having already Super Trained a Gardevoir.

On the other hand, that's pretty epic and awesome of them. :P

6/8 through the gyms so far, trying to figure out what Klefki and Carbink are best at...

Klefki gets priority spikes! And priority Toxic! And priority Thunder Wave! Basically, Klefki is a great lead, being able to cripple pokemon right off the bat while throwing out spikes. I like him, but I wish he got a physical Steel move. He might get one through breeding, but I don't know. At least he gets Play Rough. That's pretty cool.

I had already Super Trained a Gardevoir like Sunny did, and named it Elizabeth by the time I got this Ralts.

I felt weird and kinda annoyed (because I was looked for a Modest Ralts FOREVER in the grass), but then I realized I could Super Train this one up to be even better and name it Margaret. Now I have the Velvet Room Sisters in Double Battles.

Now no one can stop me

Who in the heck is Theodore

Persona fan team: Elizabeth, Margaret, any 4 Pokemon that know Play Rough

Double, Triple, and Horde Battles will be sooooo fun.

LOOKER IS IN THIS GAME, 10/10 BEST POKEMON GAME EVER WOULD PLAY AGAIN.

Klefki is good at looking stupid and having the worst design in Gen VI. And people though ice cream cone pokemon was bad...

HOW DARE YOU SIR. HAVE AT YOU.

*slaps you with key ring full of keys*

The Looker Series of side missions and events are awesome. My friends like to call him the "Doctor Who" of Pokemon.

His attacking stats are pretty bad, I think Foul Play is an all around better move for him honestly. Unless you just want something that's SE on other fairies.
The only thing klefki needs right now is Stealth Rock.
Or defog. Defog would make him the greatest thing in the world. There's no way he learns it, but it would still make him the greatest.

Master Klefki Moveset (a.k.a. "Dammit, stop playing with my keys."):

Play Rough
Play Nice
Foul Play
Tickle

A friend recommended Thunder Wave, Swagger, and Foul Play.

Which would be a really accurate summary of how frustrating looking for your keys is.
That's actually a really good set. Parafusion is a great strategy, and the fact that Swagger will boost the power of Foul Play is just awesome! For your fourth move you can choose between another status move, like spikes, or another attack like Play Rough for more offense.

So I beat the game, and I'm satisfied (though I still want my shiny mega Banette naow!)

A friend of mine described the evolution of Pokemon villain corporations, and I thought it was funny.
Team Rocket: we want to make a profit off of pokemon
Team Aqua: we want to make the ocean bigger
Team Magma: we want there to be more land
Team Galactic: we want to recreate the universe
Team Plasma: we want to free pokemon everywhere
Team Flare: I'm pissed and I want everyone to die

Anyway, has anybody tried that Malamar pokemon with the contrary ability on it? I leveled it up and it turns out it learns superpower, which would normally lower your attack and defense due to it being a 120 power fighting attack. But with Malamar's contrary it basically makes it the harbinger of death.

Anyone want to give me some hints in the right direction on post game stuff? I can't find anything else to do. No online stuff though, cause I still haven't figured out how to connect my 3DS to my school internet.
I've already:
Caught Mewtwo
Caught Zygarde
Checked the Chamber of Emptiness and Sea Spirits Den-they were empty
Did the whole Looker sidequest
Got the Poke Radar
Did all the restaurants except for the Sushi High Roller, cause I don't have $500k lol
Beat the single battle mode at the Battle Maison
Beat post-game Serena.
Did the Ralts trade with Diantha
Upgraded my Mega Ring-haven't found any "underground" Mega Stones yet

By the way, someone told me if you give a pokemon to the old man in Anistar city, then beat the e4,when you go to check on him something interesting happens. Gonna go check this right now.

Edit: Well something interesting sure happens. The game makes you feel like complete shit for doing something so kind...TT_TT

Mega Banette's mega stone is in the chamber of emptiness if you go between 8 and 9 PM.

Sea Spirit's den is for capturing the bird trio you find roaming around and can't normally catch.

Yeah, you've pretty much done everything. There's really not many changes after you beat the Elite 4. They added so much to the game in general, I guess they just didn't have time. They'll probably/hopefully add a lot more to do in Z, though.

Thanks. But what do you mean about the Sea Spirit's Den? Is the bird trio just randomly roaming once you beat the Champion? Or do you have to do something at the Den to make them start roaming?

Kinda sad we basically found all the Mega Stones during the leak week. I was hoping for another 5-10 more.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if we get more Megas off of events, al a Torchic. Does anyone have any particular ones they're hoping to see Megaed in the future? Curious what people would upgrade. :P

Dunsparce, Snorlax, for some reason Ditto (don't ask how it would work), Shedinja, and Regigigas (any method to get rid of his ability in single battles is a welcome change).

I haven't done this myself exactly so I'm not entirely sure how it works. Apparently when you find one of the birds in the wild (after beating the E4), you won't even be allowed an option to attack or use an item on it and it will immediately flee. You can then track it down via the pokedex and make it move towards the den. Once you get them to flee towards the cave, you can find it in there and it will no longer flee.

Greeeeeaaaat. So now I gotta go running through random grass like an idiot. Thanks (not being sarcastic).

So I gave up on finding a modest pokemon and decided to go IV breeding. Basically, just trying to get 31 in every stat for a Clauncher before I put a nature on it. AND LO AND BEHOLD that badass motherfucker pops out of that fucking egg PERFECT IVs and MODEST.

What the fucking shit... I'm dumbfounded...

RNG has a funny way of working in people's favor when they stop giving a damn about what they're chasing.

On an unrelated note I found a Shiny Clawitzer. Is it just me or has shiny hunting gotten a little bit easier?

It is far easier. The actual coding has made it significantly easier to find shinies.

I think they upped the Shiny odds in X/Y. I got a shiny Solosis when I was hunting for a Carbink with a decent nature. ^^;

As for Megas I'd pick, hrm... Exeggcutor, Farfetch'd, Altaria, Miltank, or Slaking.

I would love Slaking to actually be viable again somehow.

Ok guys I'm having an issue with breeding... It's becoming annoying actually because I don't have power items. Here's what I have in the daycare:

Clauncher, female
Maxed IVs: HP, Attack and Defense
Item: Destiny Knot

Wooper, Male
Maxed IVs: Special Attack, Defense
Item: Everstone (Modest)

So far only the VERY first egg from the couple yielded a maxed HP stat. Every other egg has the same HP IV (Likely of Wooper) and It's very hard to make sense of why my HP IVs aren't transferring... Does anyone know why this is happening?

Wow, just wow I had a feeling they did something like that when multiple people started claiming they found shinies on launch.

As for extra Mega Evolutions I would want to see a Mega Dragonite (that looks more like Dragonair than Dragonite) Mega Wailord, Mega Lapras and Mega Gallade (poor guy got ripped off)

I want to see Mega Poliwrath, mostly because he's my favourite and he needs a buff. Also good would be Mega Metagross, Mega Raichu or Mega Flygon.

BTW I just beat the champion today. My team was:

Kuno the Greninja (Timid female on the first try :D)
Dahlia the Florges (named after Black Dahlia)
Soul Edge the Aegislash (game reference and a fitting name)
Tiny the Tyrantrum (because naming big thing 'Tiny' is funny)
La Tormenta (The Storm) the Hawlucha (Named after Fray Tormenta, the guy Nacho Libre was based off)
and Charly the Charizard (...couldn't think of a good name)

Is there a mega typhlosion? He's an old starter, deserve some buffs
