Indeed. But Metroid did take a big dip with Other M. I haven't even touched it, I'm just unnerved by it. Damn Sector 3 bothering the crap outa me.
 
Not entirely sale wise was the intended message. I know a large portion of the Metroid fan base are/was in a sort of "Wind Waker graphics ew" sort of thing with the story's presentation and all that jazz.

reeeaaaaally japanese mentality in the writing there
didn't resonate with the westerners all that well

It's the Homerun bat, with a redesign!
It's black with a golden hilt and the Smash Bros logo at the bottom.
We actually get two pictures this time, the homerun bat connecting (With DK being hit and having his eyes pop out of his head in shock), and the homerun itself

Hey your eyes would pop out like that too if you were nailed in the junk w/ a Home-Run Bat.
 
If you look closely you can see that it's a hint towards another Lucario pic tomorrow.
 
But that effect in the very far top right corner looks similar to an attack used by Goku in DBZ S3 Ep9.

Music of the Day: A composition my friend told me to make that turned out to be awesome. Not the songs you'd expect in, but it works really well!
