I was more referring to how everyone is like "LET'S HOPE ITS NOT P3 OR P4 AGAIN!!!!" cuz god forbid they play a streamlined game.

I mean, for the last 3 P4 games we got:

a great dungeon crawler
a hype ass fighter
and P4 is passing the torch with a sad face or a tear in it's eye
it's dancing until the very end.

plus who knows, we might see everyone together again.

well after we got deprived of cool Persona 4 Arena junpei i figured that his chances of ever being cool in my eyes were permanently dead
so miiiiiiiiight as ride out that loser train

Eh. I won't say I was completely fine with social links but P3 made them interesting enough so I went with them. I would still say that having character progression tied to a mechanic like social links kind of threw off the storytelling of the persona games. The party's never felt as close as they did in P2 but it was also due to other factors (like the fool arcana, the worst idea in the persona series)

like, you mean how the Fool Arcana takes it's time throughout P3 and P4 to develop or is there something in P2 I don't know about.

you know what? I'm glad we got stuff that wasn't other things from the concept art. also, I like the idol we got for Rise.

idol Rise was fine until they ruined her but MAN sukeban Rise would have been hype as fuck
then they doubled messed her up by making her support

Still think we need actual cameos from P2 and maybe P1. I can see so many opportunities for Katsuya in P5, and it feels glorious.

never really saw the need for the navigators in P3 and P4
i thought it was a large dumb mechanic that could have been excised with little issue or impact
