Elephants aren't ungulates. They have regular toes, they're just hidden on a huge pad of soft tissue.
That there is quitter talk. :|
Honestly it's not that bad. They're two different genres, made by two different teams, tergeting different audiences. The only thing they share is the Z-Engine, but even then they're technically using different versions of it. Sure there may be some overlap when it comes to the targeted audiences, but I dont believe its enough to actually hurt either campaign.
Marvel 2 only had 6 charactersI doubt this is going to make it past initial funding. 6 characters isn't a whole lot but it's enough to have some character variety. I'm guessing that if they end up with only 6 characters, they might use them to secure a publisher, or even come back and do another campaign. Skullgirls was so successful in part because the base game was already completed.
It wasnt meant to be taken that seriously, hence the ":PUJNA:"
How many fighters are there with tiers which don't matter?
Chances are this stretch goal character isn't going to be funded. People are already questioning if the campaign is even going to be funded in the first place, let alone the stretch goal.I wouldn't call this DLC yet, they haven't decided the scope of the game and the funding level will make that determination. 7 characters is only one less than Skullgirls' opening roster, and one of those was a semi-clone move stealer. It is extremely comparable so this community being so harsh on them is a very perplexing thing.
While I dislike the cuteness and it is a big part of what I dislike about her style, my problems with how she draws lie elsewhere.Personally, I think the character designs and artwork are far and away better than MLP ever has been. You can tell the personalities of the characters immediately (except for Oleander) by their design, expressions and the attitude found in Lauren's drawings.
Maybe it's too cutesy for some, but I would say it is a big step up.
Any complaint that a lot of people make is a valid one, whether you agree with the logic behind it or not. And these complaints were obviously expected, they know some people won't like the fact that all characters are female and that the roster is gonna be small just like they know some people won't like the art style and some people won't like that it's a fighting game but what can you do? It's just a game that I'll most likely enjoy playing so I donated...
Some opinions are kinda bad though. Like when confronted with why it's ok with Skullgirls being almost all female but not this game, people will argue that the female cast is important for the former's plot so it is a totally different situation. Completely ignoring that, the plot was made that why so Alex could exclusively draw sexy monster girls and have a flimsy in-game justification for it.
If this game bullshitted the same thing and said a Key Keeper can only be female, people would then argue they were ripping off Skullgirls, so they can't win on that point either way.
